Best server for AUS XB1?

I'm not the most technologically advanced man online, don't really understand the in-depth knowledge of ping and latency and have no means of testing the way I want to. I live on the south-east coast of Aus, play on Xbox, could someone recommend which server would be the best for lag? It's been absolutely terrible lately on the EU server, and I've ruled out any issue with my internet. Is the NA server likely to be any better?
