So Zenimax... what the hell man? I don't mind being charged for DLC, hell I'd even buy the damn bag on the Crown Store but NOOOOO you just had to throw it behind a sub wall. The one thing I was absolutely looking forward to in this patch and you kept it from me....

But you cant deposit anymore crafting materials once the sub is gone, you can only withdraw them.
For me this is a great perk besides as a crafter this helps me massively since all the crafting materials are shared between all my characters.If I die tomorrow I do not want to think of the game I could of played today, therefor I will play whatever I want today while securing a future to play in as well.
A true gamer will think of all the possible outcomes and execute the one that is the hardest to accomplish.3 -

First and foremost Zenimax is a business and as such is trying to make money (I know, shocking revelation, right?) Having the main content be FREE and DLC an optional 1 time buy in has a certain amount of profitability but if you, the player decided today to not buy any more DLC or other crown items, you STILL get to play the game and Zenimax makes ZERO off of you. Great deal for you but a sucky one for the game makers. Without revenue the game would close down.
The best business model however for them is subbing, since it's a constant and secure stream of income so it is in Zenimax's best interest to encourage players to sub. Crafting bags are the first real step imho to do that. Don't like it? Well all I can say is, tough luck.
Also for all those QQing about not being able to buy one in the crown store...see my above statement. There HAS to be some reason beyond the subbers "good will" to keep paying every month instead of being a cheap***

Those of us who DON'T want to sub would have to pay 10,500 Crowns to get "similar" options, and the ESO+ option would STILL be better than having these bags. It would be similar options though.What ESO really needs is an Auction Horse.

There needs to be actual reasons to sub, like the crafting bag.

True, as a subscriber I feel like I volunteer to sub to support the game, as sub benefits are pretty poor, DLC access put aside.
Crafting bags are a nice addition to my incentive to keep subbing tho.

If you want to argue that no digital item is permanent @Ethromelb14_ESO , then sure... you're right. Unless you are a crafter the crafting bag is worthless to you.
Paying a sub is 100% optional, nobody is forcing you to pay a sub.
