Can't say I have seen AD do anything that would be considered cheating in Scourge since i joined when Azura's went non cp. I have only heard about DC pulling these stunts but i believe it's happened. EP I have seen though. Running DC characters to stand on the keep walls so their EP nightblades can jump in during a siege and running scrolls back.
Cheap tactics from both factions. What makes it even more cheap is the players doing it are competent fighters and don't need to do these silly things to make gains.

It's a shame, however EP have just done EXACTLY what they are complaining about to get Faregyl over without it going under siege. Hypocritical really.

I am also an AD player in that campaign and its no different from pact players keeping our bottom three keeps and gate ganking us so the covenant could crown emporer.
This campaign has turned in a sad direction.

Hi all. Since were on this subject. I have a question. Since I am very recognizable. I have ran into you guys. Same for when you guys ran into me. I know some of you guys read my forum pages of my concerns about me. I thank you for your all reply.

However is it considered cheating if I suddenly switch alliance within same day and or within 4 days? With the new changes that came to thieves guild for Cyrodiil. (3 months ago?) Were we can switch alliance easily in same campaign.

In my forums. I mentioned that I have issues on which alliance I should belong. That for some reason it is hard to find one and stay. Now I am back serving AD. On my new character I made. Was DC for 4 days. Yet I am still undecided no offense. I am still unsure where I belong.

However if me switching alliance within 4 days and or same day is considered cheating. I must appologise and sorry for doing so. Please note. When I do switch in different alliance. I don't tell were my comrades whom I fight alongside. Were ther locations are. Or where are they planning to go next.

Therefore I was and never am a spy. There were some instance however where I become still in battlefield. Due to the following of me frezzing and getting kicked out of game and or when I was suddenly needed at my home. I do feel guilty when my "current"comrades do get destroyed in pvp without me being there to help them. When this does happen I hope my current comrades think me not being spy.

I am also to antisocial for me being a spy and tell everyone locations are. Someday I can actually stay in one place and enjoy pvp more. I want others to have fun to.

So many have more than one character on different alliances in the same campaign. Its when they use those alts to have an advantage. You are just having some fun on all alliances

Getting back on topic; I am seeing an ever increasing number of EP players making AD alts on Scourge. Is this due to differences arising in EP, or are these more "spies" per se? There are also multiple cases of EP doing precisely what this thread is complaining about. Could this hypocritical crap please stop?

I must appolpogise. I meet no offense. I not trying to steal any posts. If I am I'm sorry. I just keep rereading this post. Before I wrote. With respect. I not trying get attention. No offense. It sounds like it though. I am sorry if it seems this way.

@Snape2255 it's technically not hypocritical unless I who made the post does it. And all 8 of my characters are EP. But sad if that's occured today by the same faction I play. The only EP guys I know personally with alts in another faction have DC alts. The red yellow divide runs deep!

My experience hasn't tarnished my view of all AD by the actions of a select few. I would hope it cuts both ways.I did hear a fair few AD unhappy about the culprit doing this and switched campaigns, or stopped playing till he was out the running as yellow emporer. my respect to those who do hold themselves to a higher standed of play. I've enjoyed many a skirmish against worthy yellow, some even managed not to teabag.

Im unclear on your other post and how a person can use an enemy faction alt to take a castle without sieging it. Can only guess glitching in? DK leap? A red in a banana costume standing there as a jump point for multiple DKs . Can you still knock walls down enough to jump up, without triggering siege status?

It's a little different from immortal scroll carrier. But such abuse and "tactics" now allow for many potential exploits. Looking forward to a fix before people start other exploits. Will it be long before we see low hp "friendly" players standing naked in the middle of groups to aid vicious death bombers, or dying intentionally and using up as many tent lives as possible? Or simply quickly switch characters to find the exact location of all the enemy tents they've hidden so well. When it's easy as just a relog. Is there at least a time limit before some can switch characters/faction into a campaign they were just in.

Simplest way they do it is walking in and out of doors to glitch them inside with chains/teleport strike or standing where they can leap etc. They get inside and take the flags before it comes under siege.

Being able to enter a campaign with multiple factions ruins it and needs to be addressed.

Mmm... when crafting bags come to PS4 I might just fire one of my mules and role a really bad dressed, two left handed and always drunk Nord. I will send him to Cyrodiil and hopefully the EP can put some discipline into him.

The issue with this "mechanic" is that the counter to it is to be playing character you don't want to.

If you're fighting for a specific faction it's because you want to be playing for that faction, not logging into your alt constantly to kill people logging into their alts to win.

Now if players holding scrolls were killable by everyone it would be fine, the spy takes your scroll and you kill them and take it back, however the amount of trolling would be even worse.

Just wondering if there are any plans in the works to counter this new issue @ZOS_BrianWheeler as it's not enjoyable gameplay for those having it done against them.

Also please stop with the blaming one another for doing it and try to focus on that it is an issue and should be address and ways that can be done. I don't care which faction does it or did it first, it needs to have a counter or be stopped in some way.

We had this same issue on Xbox NA (Scourge). A red player got on his yellow character and took a scroll and ran it back to the red side of the map. Them only thing we could do was have someone on our side jump on his red character and kill the person that was cheating.

There's no honor, there's no loyalty, there's no such a thing as "fairness". If you want to carry your actions within this game through honor, it is your decision (as it is mine too), but under no cirscuntances you can force others to do the same.

Though I agree, there should be a way to punish those spies without switching alliance. I'd rather work on that rather than forbidding people to do what you are supposed to do in war.

You're implying that in a real war a soldier can sit down for 10 seconds, disappear and then come back wearing another country's uniform, help his original country, sit back down for another 10 seconds and then come back again in his original uniform.

Sure there are spies in real war, but the current state of affairs is ridiculous and does not replicate this aspect whatsoever. It simply allows players to constantly enter the SAME campaign on any faction and hinder enemies with no repercussions. At least in real war if found doing something like that the repercussions would be lifetime imprisonment, torture and/or death.

What do you get on ESO for doing that? "Oh naughty boy, now run back to your alliance so they can tell you how awesome you are."

Yawn.
