Which genius decided to put collision on Assistants?

Haven't seen this raised before so... after all the multiple problems with pets blocking doorways and wayshrines and generally being a pita why were assistants collision enabled?

Now you have silly trolls blocking doorways etc with them just like before.

Making a mistake once is understandable and even though it took some time it was fixed - repeating it again is just flat out slack. Please do something - plus you should at least be relieved to get a complaint thread that isn't about the blatant omnipresent hacking and exploiting so you won't have to lock and drop this one...

Yeah I've never understood why pets and stuff aren't phantom too, beyond their expertise I guess.

That's the special "Skyrim-feeling" feature of ESO companions. They want you to feel like in Skyrim when LYDIA blocks the path! Isn't it great?

She once pushed me off a cliff, fortunately I had the perk for reduced fall damage, she however followed after pushing me and died on impact.

If I could bring myself to accept this rather sad excuse of a game as an elder scrolls title I'd be inclined to agree lol

Well if that happened on ESO you could use the new "No Fall Damage" feature of the Cheat Engine Addon. :p

Let's get serious: I think they might change this in the future, however, I think that currently, they have more important things to fix. ;)

I understand/agree with your last, but you have to stop and ponder that it seems as if everything is always more important than everything else....
    :D
The problem with society these days is that no one drinks from the skulls of their enemies anymore.

IDD but this should be an easy one since they have already fixed pets so may well be able to simply re-apply something that exists - they may require actual real coding to fix the meteor showers and related hacking.

The difference between pets and assistants is that you need to be able to interact with assistants - and that code is likely tied into the code for NPCs which have collision.
