    They're fixing the UI death recap bug with DB.

    There are apparently no other bugs relating to this set, players have done testing with videos etc and the only times it seems to be killing player early or other listed bugs is because of health desync making it look that way.

    the better question is, is Proxy det bombing fixed? thats what makes this set over perform.

    Unless Vicious Death procs by AoE - its broken af. It did nothing against zergs, it actualy created new zergs in VD sets.

    This is a common misconception.

    VD was never intended to do anything to 'zergs' but was rather intended to make 'stacking/blobbing' less effective or more risky which it has.

    The game is intended for massive numbers of players(zergs) to fight together and against each other. If you want equal/controlled numbers you need to find a game that provides canned PvP/Arena style modes.

    I have nothing against massive PVP and "zergs", but Vicious Death did nothing with ball groups. People still stacking in huge trains with proxy under barier but now do it more effective. Yesterday I saw full raid where every single person had prox det, and when they explode ping was literally 999+. All I saw in death recap was "Proximity Detonation" and "Vicious Death". If they want do somtheing with ball groups - why the hell did they buff AoE? AoE spam is all what they doing.

    VD doing the same 20k damage to single player is the real issue in my opinion.The explosion should act like magicka detonation

    Scale damage the more players. But that would make sense, and we all know common sense isn't something that translates well to MMO's

    Wait-wait-wait. So evereyone agrees that multiple AoEs which procs by one single AoE is okay and totaly balanced? Zerg-bombing is cancer! And ZoS just buffed this cancer.

    Yes, I'm zerg player, I like to play in 6-8 ppl zerg groups. And bigger groups don't care about few proxy ninjas - they got a lot of healers/purgers/barier-droppers.

    Hmm, if is not bugged, why does it trigger multiple times from the same player and trigger in the beginning or middle of fights? And why does it damage the target itself when it is supposed to deal damage to those adjacent to the target? Or isn't that how it is supposed to work?

    3rd party add-ons register this damage in their combat logs, so I don't believe for a second that is has something to do with the death recap or de-synced health bars.

    If i have a 1v1 just 4-5 minutes after login and i get 10k damage from skills, then i explode for 15k damage from vicious death...thats just health desync? Yeah...sure.

    I die, then i explode and cause damage to allied players nearby.

    A little bit strange when no allied player is near, i get damage, explode by VD at 50% life and then i die.

    Yet you can't post a video that proves what you claim, henceforth your claim is invalid. It has been tested time and again and it's a health desync. Should we have waited 4 months for a fix to this bug? No. Are health desyncs tolerable? No. But the set itself is not bugged in the fashion you claim.

    I along with everyone else initially thought that was true. But time, testing, and math have revealed otherwise time and again.

    VD needs to stop proccing while killing people with siege equipment.

    Maybe. I go back and forth with this one. The current system forces you to be in groups to take keeps. So I kind of agree it shouldn't proc off seige. But then again it allows a few skilled players to defend a keep, which I like.

    I just wish there were more dynamic gameplay. I wish you could have seige ladders that allow small groups to have a bigger impact.

    This is a more valid discussion and worthy of the forums.

    VD does not cause the health desync. Some abilities cause it as well as Lightning Staves and Resto Staves. I imagine poisons will only exacerbate this problem. I've noticed the dueling tournaments recently have taken go banning lightning staves due to the health desync. The monster helm that drains health also does it I think.

    I love sieging, but I hardly think it requires any specific skill other than placing a siege and aiming it at a group of enemies.

    Perhaps it is lag causing it, but I pvped for about 3 hours yesterday, and died to the Vicious Death proc several times. I mean my kill counter keeps crediting the cause of the death to Vicious Death. It is definitely not a health desync, lol. The set procs before you die and kills you. It's broken and it needs to be fixed.

    Lol, all the pvp newbs/pugs whined about highly skilled, stacked groups constantly wiping them and applauded the addition of VD and lowering skill for Mag Det. Then they are surprised and still angry when the highly skilled stacked groups adopted the gear/ability and now use it to continue to dominate. This reminds me of the Butterfly Effect, whatever you do it won't change a thing.
