Zenimax or Bethesda (ESO): Who is going to credit me for the days an hours lost?

Hello Zenimax & Bethesda (ESO),

I have lost days and hours of play/work to get skills that I lost due a reset going wrong. Who of you
is going to credit me? See an explanation of my case at the following link. I believe we deserve better!

Zenimax isn't going to compensate you for not paying attention when respeccing your skills. Write them down next time.

Dude read his post again carefully before commenting. The skill reset happened and because of this the EXP he had ALREADY earned in his destro staff skill line got turned to 0. Im guessing something like for example, impulse level 3 got turned into impulse level 1 due to him resetting his skills. Or maybe his destro staff skill line got pushed back to 0. Which would have totally pissed me off by the way. Nothing to do with him not paying attention to skill point allocation...... As far as I understand it, resetting should save your current weapon line EXP. As in if u level destro staff to level 38 and get force shock level 3, and you reset it and put points into it again, your destro staff should stay as level 38. And any morphs you have previously unlocked should be able to be unlocked when you put skill points back into it without having to earn EXP again.

Sorry this happened to you OP. And yeah, Zeni sometimes does stupid stuff.... Like I know a friend who's fighers guild was stuck at 9 and wasnt able to go to 10 for like 3 months....

Do we have any screenshots?
proof that you actually had the skills leveled ? and that they are level 1 now?

Dont know about screenie but in his link, OP seems to have copy pasted the ZOS response which states;

"Thank you for taking the time to contact The Elder Scrolls Online:
Tamriel Unlimited support team. My name is Roy. It would be my

I have verified that you do have the exp in your destruction staff.
I'm sorry that this has happened to you."

Which seems to acknowledge that they know crap happened to him but can't help him..... One of the mods help this poor guy out please.

Hi Vangy,

This a great game, but this is a very serious issue. Unfortunately, ESO is no being forthcoming
about my predicament and is not offering me any remedy such as credit for all those days and
hours spent in upgrading those skills to level IV. I'm currently a level 16 Magicka DK, which took
much effort and hardwork to get there, that's why I am complaining 'cause I believe is not fair.
As a consequence I have put on hold my membership on ESO as I was planning to do it to get
access to the new DLC's.

You can have lv 50 on aweapon skill line, and have zero skills ranked up.
I have that with my sorc and dualwield.
The fact he's got exp on destro staff line means nothing if he wants to prove he had at some point some skill morphed or not

Please tell me how to get to lvl 50 destro staff on a magicka DK with 0 exp in skills in that skill line lol.. You'd at least need impulse for trash adds when grinding.... Jokes aside... OP has mentioned that he did level the skills up and now has lost them. I dont think asking people to take screenies everytime they respec or level up a skill is reasonable..... You can only provide information when crap happens.... And its basically OPs word against ZOS.... Ive seen my fair share of unreasonable things happening in this game to write off OP's concerns....

At the very least, ZOS should provide some kind of acknowledgement or rebuttal in the case of player-side issue so that at least you know why you lost the effort put into levelling. Im sure their server should have stored some kind of data pertaining your skill line OP. Keep submitting a ticket until you get a relevant answer OP. It was the only thing that seemed to work for me when I had problems. Kept getting copy pasted computer generated replies till I was like 5 tickets in lol.
