Temp-Ban - and loss of all gear

Until ZOS starts getting tough on exploiters, it is going to keep happening. Even a month is not enough. We don't need exploiters on the game. I also think that ZOS should fine those who did the banking assistant exploit of all the gold and mats they made. Probably too late now, but ZOS needs to stand up for those of us who play legitimately.

Damn, that should been permaban.

Perma ban. So exploiters learn they can't do this stuff anymore. This all started with the crafting writs and the slap to the wrist they got with 3 days banning.

This ban should be at the minimum 2 weeks to knock them out of PVP and Leaderboard rankings. But 1-2 months would concrete make the point.

Though permabans would strike fear into everyone and keep them from doing this again. To lose all your time and money investment would be devestating.

3rd party software download that allows you to alter client side data being sent to the servers. Goes a lot further than just ultimates though.

Server Rollback

Server roll back reason being? You can't catch them all its like Pocket Monsters theirs always 1 you can never get. So rather than trying hours looking for these exploiters; find a way they can't use the cheat engine by having everything besides textures, ui, and general setting server side. It would make this game more a stream game but if anything is worth being a stream game rather than a game mostly client side where people can mess with things its a MMO because it has to be Online.

I've never seen this much eploits in a AAA MMO before....

This is not something what someone can accidently do - this is intentional exploiting and hacking the game client for personal gain. It is against the TOS and ZOS should do, what is in their power - perma-ban them.

If not, then I suggest the following - strip their accounts to be blank - no levels, no characters, no items, no upgrades of any kind, just the bare base game left - then they have a 2nd chance to play this time around in a proper way. This would teach them a lesson at least. Perma-ban would be better nevertheless, because others would not dare to cheat that blatantly anymore, if there would be real risk to never play this game again - a game, they care enough about to cheat and hack it.

No roll-back - that would punish us instead of them - they need to be perma-banned or get their accounts stripped - I am not for giving them a 2nd chance - simply because this is not something they could have done by accident - this was intentional.

This is entirely unacceptable. I want to see this fixed, all players using it to be permanently banned, they damn well know what they are doing, they dont get a second chance!. And leader boards in pvp and pve reset. I would like to see a SEVERE stance by ZOS against cheaters. And I want it done before they waste another minute on *** dlc's.

I pay my sub to play a legit game not get farmed by exploiters. I will without hesitation cancel my sub and move along to another of the dozens of other MMO's available to me.

Fix your *** ZOS.

If you allow cheating to go rampant by giving light punishment to the offenders, competitive players who are not okay with it might leave for games that actually punish cheaters appropriately. Not to mention, allowing this kind of thing is terrible for the game and the studio's public image. Then, it is many lost costumers (honest costumers, not cheaters). Who should ZOS favor?

Temp-Ban - and loss of all gear

So that explains why I encountered a low ranking DK last night with permanent Corrosive Armour on, he took out 6 people and just kept standing there (near our camp) like a boss, encouraging people to attack him.
I thought it was a bit off, as there's no way he could regen ultimate that fast, takes at least 30 seconds to get enough ulti for another Corrosive, yet he had it on nonstop for minutes.
Hope someone reported him, as I wasn't aware yet that it's an actual hack, just thought it was some glitch or something.

See, this does not really get to me - because I had little interest to do pvp in this game and that little is basically gone, when I had to realize, that this will not get a fix anytime soon. Simply because there is still no proper client-server architecture and to do it properly and get it performant at the same time - I have no faith in ZOS to be able to accomplish that - ever. So there will be no eta and a lot of failed attempts to deal with the issue on a technical basis.

So if I would want to pvp, I would drop this game, just like I did with Archeage by similar reasons - endless hacks and exploits and an incompetent publisher - Trion - if ZOS is better, questionable. We will see how they are going to handle this.

Their only chance to deal with it, is IMO not a technical one, but a socially acceptable one - to punish those, who harm this game that massively, in a clear and brutal way - perma-ban and account termination. The fear of loosing the ability to play the game will others make think twice to ever cheat again. Sometimes a company has to do that to achieve something - it is not done with temporary bans - this has to be harsh, it has to hurt and it has to be made public, otherwise nothing will change, simply because ZOS will not be able to quickly implement a proper client-server architecture without to loose performance.

Permanent punishments are a tool for grief.
1 month is more than enoguh to force a 'cheater' to find another game and never come back, and not so much for someone who happened to either trust wrong people or be unlucky enough.

Choose a better password. And don't click on links if you haven't verified where they are going.

More likely someone not wanting to own up to their actions.

It also depends how they do it. If it requires hacking the game, than this seems as worthy of a perma-ban as any exploit that I could think of.

No it is not a lost customer - a customer is not breaking the contract - and they do intentionally break the contract. You do not maintain a relationship to a cheating customer, you terminate the relationship to him/her. The damage these can do, if they are still able to play the game is greater than the loss of money, which these would most likely anyway not provide anymore. Why would they?- They do not have to buy stuff, they just cheat it into their collections - you see, nothing to earn there.

Edit: do something illegal in a real world business - the least you will get when you get caught is that you get banned from their property and to further participate in any business with them.

Temp-Ban - 7 days

I personally don't care at all that people were hacking and don't think any of them should be permabanned. If anything, it makes me laugh. I hope for once in their careers the devs notice the ****ing wake-up call. Fix the game, fix the lag, do your jobs. No excuses.

Not a ban but an account restriction. Anyone found guilty of hacking has all of their characters turned into stamina sorcs. And can only create stamina sorcs from character menu. I know its harsh but a slap on the wrist wont solve this.
