Ashen Grip and DB five piece bonus

Should the five piece bonus be changed to Poison damage or should the two, three piece and four piece changed to max magicka, spell power and spell crit? Right now this set is not in sync with the changes.

they also need to buff it damage and cd wise. the set's appauling, if anything make it spew out black smog since it's "Ashen" not "flamen"

And it should proc on "active" dot, like rapid strike and jabs.

Agree, it either should revamped to full stamina support or changed for magicka users. Right now this set is just a relic of past.

I'd like to see it get an update, but I'm thinking keep it's flame. Personally I think having a few sets out there that are just neat isn't a terrible thing.

i'd rather it have a unique effect of being black smog, volcanic ash is toxic and sooty

I'd be all for this set to be changed to poison damage, as it's clearly intended for Stamina characters but the 5 piece goes against that sort of mind set as far as CP goes.

There are quite a few sets that need to be altered to be more in tuned with how the game has progressed.
There are still magic sets that give stamina/stamina regen/weapon damage/weapon crit and vice versa.
I know they said they were altering Elegant to remove the weapon damage for spell damage but there are still a few sets, like Shadow Walker, that really could use this tweak as well that I'm hoping will be handled with in time.

They should probably take a general look on many of the older sets with the changes to CPs and such, and also give them a second look in terms of power.

Sure, there is some sense in having high trait-requirements for the good sets, but I'd like to see sets rebalanced apart from this.

There is sooo many sets that need to be revamped...
If I didnt have being tired as an excuse because its late, I could write down all sets which need to be updated.

But thinking about it, I think I dont need an excuse to not do it, there is TONS of sets... so many lost opportunities because sets stay bad due to "tired" devs?^^

Yeah, there are a lot of sets that need updates and I thought Ashen Grip would be a good example of how sets get outdated when the mechanics of the game changes. Adapting the crafted set, at minimum, to the changes made by the devolpers shows a sense of pride in the overall quality of a product that is being provided to ZOS's consumers. There has been a lot of work in many areas and I would think updating sets to maintain synergy should be part of QA control program. QA should not only be in place to avoid sets from being overpowered, but also ensure that sets are not underpowered.

Personally I wish they would switch the traits around, that way we can have a craft-able 2 piece weapon damage set.

Theres a few of these sets, outdated set bonuses etc. They should go through all of the crafted sets and adjust accordingly.
