Does Anyone Actually Know The Drop Rate of Maelstrom Weapons?

I'm juts curious, I think I seen some where that one of the admins posted that a maelstrom weapon drops 50% of the time and a jewellery piece 50% of the time (from final chest of course). I'm not sure if it's coming with DB or if it's currently live, but can anyone confirm this?
