Well ZOS did not listen to your pleas. Just don't buy it and problem solved. There is no mount worth 4000 crowns.

Actually the silliness is that a ton of people are drooling for this to drop so they can pay $30.00 just to have a supposedly prestige mount.Only it wont be prestige because all those other riders will have the same one. XD

Called the wife, let her know that a mount I wanted was going to be on the Crown Store and that I wanted to buy it. She asked me how much and I said 30 dollars to be safe(I have a some crowns still left over from ESO+).I got the go ahead and did not draw any wife aggro.

Then I seen it's going for 4K.

ZOS, you had my money.........but not now, this is absolutely a ridiculous price.

I will not be buying this mount, and I would suggest that everyone do the same. In fact when i get home, since ZOS is asking for pictures on our new mounts, I say everyone post pictures of the mount you will be riding because this one is to expensive.

At first, I was thinking of buying this. But then I saw the price, and everyone else riding them. Nope. Not going to bother. I like to have stuff that make people stop and look and go "where the hell did you get that?". I like the stuff that you very rarely if ever see in game, such as my dark green Narsis Guar mount, which was in a pack of stuff in 2015. Come to think of it, seeing anyone on a Guar mount of any kind is relatively rare.

Which is why I use my black horse the most.I dont see that many of them around.A few,but not a ton of them.
I too have that Guar.I didnt buy him,he w as given to me.One day I got an email telling me he was there.

I really did want one. Not sure I can stomach 4k on it though. And besides, I usually use my tiger mount anyways, so 4k on this one, I would have to use it all of the time on all of my characters for like a year in order to feel like the dam thing was worth my 4k. And like other people are saying, seeing EVERYONE using them, that makes them less appealing to me on top of the 4k price tag.

There's more than enough people who think 4k is fine for the price of this mount. Look at rawl lol... Like I didnt expect SO MANY people to get it. I got it cos I think its much better than the stupid ice horse that went for 3k. 3-3.5k would have been the sweet spot for me for this mount. But meh... Ive got enough crowns rotting away from sub... Too jelly over the mount animations to not get it

What would reallllly *** me off is some sale that makes this mount 1.5k. Now that would ..... put me into a frothing rage lol.

The reason mounts and certain costumes are overpriced is because zos knows not as many people will buy them as say DLC's or ESO Plus. The bean counter's can factor in sub prices and DLC figures but mounts and costumes are hit and miss with how many people will purchase, that being said...

They really nailed this one. I cant go anywhere w/o seeing someone riding a Dro-Mathra Senche... They have def raked in the dough on this mounts

I agree with @Palidon , I mean i was going to get the mount if it was 2.5k and since it isnt then no use gettin it for me & no use caring if someone else got it or not.

Given that it functions exactly the same as all the other mounts, make them all 99 cents each (cash, not crowns) and I might buy one or two. The current price is simply greedy to the point of insanity and I'd rather spend that money on the inevitable expansions for Civ 6.

The price of that is absolutely ridiculous.

I really wanted to boycott it, but….. It's absolutely perfect for one of my characters. Though the only real reason I was able to sort of kind of justify getting it was that it came at the time of my birthday, and birthdays are for splurging after all. But seriously, as awesome as it is, there is NO way it should have cost that much.

I've no problem with them being 4k, it's all profit which will hopefully go towards bug fixes and content being created

It also looks to be a business strategy in order to gain more subscriptions too because if they keep raising the crown prices then more will sub and save their crowns for the limited edition items rather than pay a cash lump sum.
In turn it also helps those already with a stockpile of crowns get rid of 4k which in turn means they may need to buy a crown pack if a surprise item is released in the future.
Pretty clever of them really as there are hundreds of them running around so they must have sold quite well with both stockpiled crowns and purchased crowns.
You all wanted more reasons to sub well here's another one

I just see more people waiting for sales on crowns to offset the inflation of prices in the crown store for new items. The sub will actually lose value as prices increase in the store.
