The jealousy in this thread is unreal.....all those moaning about the price would be buying it if they could afford it.
You know whats too much, every thread thats made after Zos overprice a crown store item, get this trash outta the forums Zos don't care and your taking the focus away from the real problems with this game. /Kappa

What would ZOS rather have? 1 person buys it for 4k or 2 people buy it for 2.5k?, you would make more money if both of those people brought it, less people are going to buy it because it's is out of many player's price range.
See this is what happens when a game goes P2W, if ESO was still sub-based we wouldn't have this stupid crown store and none of these unlorefriendly things.
But c'mon, we're ZOS, let's just put it on Crown Store! #money #p2w #whocaresaboutlore #transcriptionerror

Some mathemagician determined the best way to get customers to spend the most money they can. It's not evil, they are providing a service and hope to make the most money they can while providing fun and enjoyment. There are various things to spend money on, some more tempting than others. I cannot get mad at people with nicer cars than me or blame the manufacturer for making the car. I just enjoy looking at the car.

Oddly the higher crown price with the seeming promise of exclusivity was the opposite!
Personally I find it grotesquely overpriced.
But I think the price is most shocking because it is almost double the price of previous limited edition items. We're used to limited mounts costing around 2500 Crowns, so of course a mount costing 4000 Crowns will be a shock.
But then comes the question of "what do I actual get for my Crowns?"... Well, all you get is a mount with a fancy animation. Compared to the fact that you can get a whole DLC plus extras for less than the price of this new mount is the true shocker in my opinion! (DLCs go for 2000-3000 Crowns, two of which give a free pet as well...)
As an ESO+ member, I had been saving up my Crowns for this mount, but was expecting it to cost much less. I have the Crowns for it, but now I have to have a long hard debate with myself whether or not this mount is really worth it.
It is truly a shame they decided to overprice this item, as I could imagine they would sell way waaay more at a lower price, which would equal a much higher revenue. (Example: 100 people buy it for 4000 Crowns = 400.000 Crowns spent. 1000 people buy it for 2500 Crowns = 2.500.000 Crowns.... simple math and a better sales strategy really...)

But this is an outrageous price for a skin and I don't want to support the idea that pricing things this high is ok. OTOH, this is the perfect mount for one of my toons, and affording it is no problem for me. Principle or desire?

Well @KingYogi415 ... Now ZOS knows they can charge 4000 Crowns for a mount. Think they'll go for 4500 or 5000 next time?

Yeah I see suckers customers everywhere too.
I'm sorry but I just can't help but laugh at you when I see you on your $30 panther reskin, especially when you park in the busy areas attempting to show off...you don't look cool, you look like a fool. (I'm not the least bit salty, just sharing how I feel)

I bet they are hoping to be able to release housing with hundreds of dollars worth of options.
I was going to buy the tiger as I do most mounts, but i refused to support these micro transaction psy-ops ZOS has chosen to force down our throats.
On that note don't ask me how much I would pay for a rideable dragon.
Cheers!
