Maybe the combat music has some high frequency sounds in it that you can't hear very well, but really bother your dog. Like a dog whistle.
That would explain why he is only bothered during combat, but not at other times, when combat music isn't playing.
I'm not joking. He doesn't like it either.
I'm not sure how he knows. As soon as combat starts, he's gone. Even if I play with headphones, turned down low, he soon runs out of the room. He doesn't do this for any other video game I play. Only ESO.
My hypothesis is the combat. Something he picks up on. Even if I don't get worked up, don't change my breathing, try to maintain a zen like state, it still doesn't work. He'll lay there, snoozing away, until I engage in combat. Then poof, he goes outside. Later dude. You're scaring me, lol.
Dogs are amazing.
So there it is, ESO combat mechanics, Siberian Husky approved.
