I am also interested in seeing how this will pan out...

a few things i noticed in the upcoming patch...

1.) Rapid Strikes >>>>> Biting Jabs due to Maelstrom weapons and also higher overall damage single target (soemthing that stamina templars somewhat need) even with the 140% increase on single target damage + burning light i am still thinking that rapid strike + light attack weave will out perform biting jab spam due to Rapid Strikes 0.6 second cast time.

2.) Balanced Warrior is not balanced....its weapon and stamina focused meaning that stamplars can use that passive while magplars really dont...at least not to its fullest extent.

In terms of DPS and buffs etc from a Magplar perspective....

1.) Reflective light is an INSANE DoT + aoe
2.) Dark Flare hits like a *** AND FREAKING EMPOWERS
3.) Jesus Beam...srsly nuff said...while the starting damage is extremely high, you as a magicka templar have a great execute...at least that is based on what i see. Stamina Templars are pigeon holed into using 2H for execute
4.) New skill - prayer of retribution - small AoE magicka dot that doesnt hit hard but its somewhat decent as it does both damage and heals the magicka templar

I am not sure which is the better version to be honest...I see the possibility of a hybrid templar working well...

Gear Sets used:
- Twice Born Star with Warrior & Tower (we need to get the highest possible weapon damage and more stamina)
- 5 peice Pelinels Attitutde is possible (someone confirm we can craft swords / shields & there is jewlery)?
- if u cannot use 5 peice Pelinels use 5 peice Twice Born Star + 2 Valkyin Skoria + 3 Agility

DW
- Reflective Light
- Blood Craze (or exploding charge - which ever u feel is needed more...i prefer blood craze in Dungeons & exploding charge in sewers / PVP)
- Bloodthirster
- Repetence
- evil hunter (have it on this bar so we get more damage via bloodthirster)
- Flawless Dawnbreaker

Bow:
- Posion Injection
- Endless Hail
- Caltrops or purge which ever u feel is needed more
- Rearming Trap
- Vigor
- Nova / Meteor (i like Nova more for defensive solo options as it reduces damage done from mobs by 30% and its a decent DoT)

This gives us the FEEL of a hybrid without being overly hybrid...but why Reflective light?!!??! we need a magicka dump...to be honest with Dual Weild heals + vigor we really dont need anymore heals etc....Reflective light gives us a great dump while adding DPS...its good for AOE clearing and building up ultimate from dawns wrath skill line passives and helps proc Valkyin Skoria.

Plus it makes us look F-ing cool.
It might not be a min / max set up but it s really fun - hits hard looks cool and is generally a pleasure to play.

Plus it fits into my Angel blessed Imperial coming to the Dominion to assist them clearing out Molag Bal's demons as the other 2 factions simply are about money (DC) and some little war (EP)...although EP due to Morrowind!!!!!!
