This does sound like the case of buyers remorse. If you bought all the DLC's which are expensive. Why did you not just get ESO+. I can understand how you see this as unfair but to expect the devs to accommodate for your regret of spending all that money doesn't seem fair either.

Adding this as a ESO+ only perk is a great incentive to keep steady revenue flow into the game. Which benefits everyone as a whole. And quite frankly if you have the money to blow on all the DLC's and then some more store content. You have the money to buy a sub plan.

I think it's more of a feeling of being scammed by Ubizo$, they sold the B2P model under the advertisement of "no subscription required", naturally one would assume that any perks or extras given for subscribing would also be offered for sale under the B2P model too.

"No subscription required" does not mean that benefits would not be made available to subscribers. You can play the game without a subscription can you not? No scam is in operation here.

Other perks for subscribing or at least an alternative are offered for sale in the crown store are they not?

Yes you have alternatives in game for craft bags. Its called crown bank/bag store upgrade. Ive got like 160 bag on each of my 8 toons and around 170-ish bank slots I think off the top of my head. I just need more space because im a hoarder and still have some v1-v15 gear pieces in game lol. If you are not a hoarder like me, you can easily make do with the allowable bank slots. If anything, you should be arguing for REMOVAL of bank cap. That way you can upgrade to your hearts content. You might get more traction and support even from ESO+ members this way. Begging for the bag is not gona make it happen.. At least in the near future. Devs have been very vocal and clear on that. Their answer to the question about whether craft bag was for ESO+ only was like literally just one word: YES.

I've stated before in earlier threads and polls that I'd be happy with the removal of bank caps.
I don't care either way about the craft bags I was simply putting forth an opinion of how people who were sold the B2P model maybe feeling scammed, if B2P customers are no longer needed then that's fine by me as Ubizo$ obviously no longer need my cash for further development of the game.

I dont get it... When I go to a club to drink and don't get to sit at the VIP table or get free special VIP drinks I don't whine about it... Im happy with just being able to have a good time and buy what my money can get me... That dosent mean the club dosent want my money... It just means they are "encouraging" me to get a VIP membership since I spend a lot of time there anway...

from what I can see you guys are the only ones whining, I've bought all the dlcs and supported the game so why would I subscribe now to rent what I already own?... it would be like the club in your ridiculous analogy selling you a drink then charging you again for the privilige of drinking it.

No. It would be like you bought a cherry vodka and took a gander at my bottle of 18 year old single malt and now want it for the same price as your little cup of cherry vodka. Your logic being you already bought alcohol (your cherry vodka) so you feel like you dont want to pay for the whiskey now. There's a name for this feeling. Its called buyer's remorse.

lol you're still whining under the assumption I want a crafting bag, as I stated earlier I don't care, I'd be happy with removal of bank caps or even a small extention but ultimitely I still don't give a toss lol.
Subs can have the craft bags, doesn't make any difference to me one way or another, if zos don't need my cash anymore then theres no need to give them it as I personally don't see the bags as worth it *shrugs*

Fantastic. Guess we are on the same page. Funny you sound like my ex-gf when she kept telling me she was totally okay with me talking to her BFF. A year later turns out she really hated it.

That's funny, I was just thinking the exact same thing about you, my ex used to moan about everything I bought her too, she'd still always wear and use the items I paid for but wow did she enjoy hearing herself whine about it.

Tell me how it is b2p?

does it give you extra dps/sustain/mitigation/what?

B2P means BUY to play, I dunno about you but I bought my copy of the game.

Fair enough. I am confused. How is it P2W?

eso+ does have perks. you get all expansions free.. pluss experience boons etc. and free crowns. These things are also available to those who want to makle purchases outright.
I have no problem with eso+ getting the craft bags. However it should be available to ther purchase people also for the sake of fairness. Because this is indeed an item that makes very real difference to mall because frankly im tired of having a couple of character slots as storage space. It is important, it does make a difference, and if it has been "beat to death" as you say then it should tell you it matterts to many people.
Its great you have no problem with is... please stand back and let thoise with a differing view have a chance to say what they feel also. Thanks.

I disagree, whilst the DLC are available they are not free, we pay for this and the same amount we pay monthly would buy the expansions.
The fairness in this is those that regularly support the game with their subscription are now getting a perk, more importantly a reason to keep their subscription. I have enough coins from my subscription that I could happily stop my sub and buy the DLC's!
The crown store is missing things I'd like, the costumes to me are MEH, I think I've been spoiled by SWTOR where I can mix and match outfits to get a very unique look.
I only need one mount, personally I find things following me around annoying so there is very little for me to buy in the Crown Store. If they added a preview screen to Motif armours and added more varied armour sets I can preview before I create I think I'd spend a lot more...
I find it hard to believe that the majority of people without a Sub make monthly purchases from the Crown Store there just simply isn't that much on it.

Subscriptions. Ensure fixed revenue. Fixed turnover and allows budget to be considered more accurately and resources managed better with less waste. Sub'ing is better for the game, and its development.

SO..they are going to promote it. And when you can subscribe and get crowns only to unsbscribe after buying the DLC and pay effectively for one of the three months between the quarterly DLCs, they will be losing out on a lot of potential revenue and income stability.

I suspect this is half the reason we are getting rushed out DLC each 1/4 instead of larger content every half a year. because in six months you could subscribe for 2 months buy the DLC after and unsubscribe for the next 4. They need an incentive to keep people subbing OVER outright purchasing and get those extra 2/3rds potential income

ERGO this is not wrong this is ensuring the games continued development, continued attempt to fix all the bugs and continued DLC development are all budgeted for by sustainable income streams. Look at more than just your selfish selves before complaining. You've managed this far without bags. suck it up or sub

What is interesting is people saying they will NEED this crafting bag after DB launches, but the fact is, people will need LESS space since anyone with a high level VR (soon to be CP) character won't need all the various mats from previous VR levels. The only people that will still need the lower CP level mats are brand new players, and as long term players already know, managing inventory isn't a huge problem unless you make it one.

Its not free, ur paying 15bucks for it......

What Z should do is offer a crown store minibag that holds 500 account-bound items. This would free up bank space and not compete with the craft bags.

Yeah, sure, you and your reasonable suggestions. Get out of here.

This might be an eminently practical option, but it's not the same as 64 billion slots ... and the envy such a big number generates among some people drives them crazy ...

Obsessed with trying to tell me I have "buyers remorse" aren't you, did you just learn that phrase recently and been looking for the chance to use it in a sentence? lol

I see you're all out of steam huh.. I've had snappier comebacks from a bowl of cheetos..... Try harder lol!

Far from it, I'm just working atm so not really concentrating on retorts as witty and comical as your cheetos remark, in case you're wondering a "job" is what stops us from becoming unemployed losers sitting on our backsides all day watching our parents on jeremy kyle.

Good thing for me I can do both, my job and come up with witty retorts :D

    Whatever are you implying lol
I know you're frustrated that you've failed to rouse more than a smirk from me but most actually left the game with the response "this is a broken piece of excrement" but I personally put it down to having a guild leader much like yourself in the respect that he was always whining, trying to tell people their own views and opinions and talking out of his backside, he was tolerable but pretty dimwitted too, had a huge ego and assumed he had intelligence to match it.. shame he left really, I enjoyed laughing at him too.
Considering my guilds are all full and im not the one with an empty guild with over 110 members not playing... nuff said lol.....

Actually, having one 'dead' guild is a blessing. It's the solution to lacking bank space. 500 extra bank slots really comes in handy. And you can still have 4 full, active guilds.

I believe you, met some of them myself but still... I always got along better with guys for some reason, you guys have less drama, less back stabbing and are more straight forward! Many women are jealous of their own friends, try to act holier than thou... not into that kind of stuff. My best girl friend acts like a bro, we talk about the weirdest things while eating pizza and swearing at games, but still put on makeup, wear dresses in public and cry with lord of the rings xD.

You. You are awesome. Never change!

And I have been around cliques of both men and women, and I tend to get on better with women, but I agree that there's a lot of drama ...

I decided to ignore the point which was to suggest your interlocutor had no social skills. Rather I wanted to point out something that might be useful to somebody :P

As for the whole eso+ discussion... I think the craft bags are fine. They're a meaningful perk that might actually convince some people to sub. And that's ZOS's goal here. If the bags could be bought from the CS they wouldn't fulfill this goal. Also they offer convenience not strength. So no P2W.

I don't think ESO+ has enough benefits to justify it cost as it is. Crafting Bags will be gamer changer to that, and in the future I expect it to get even more benefits. I'm sorry but if you don't care to support the game means you don't care enough to be relevant, you are just a tourist to see the sights. Plus players are the ones living in the town you are visiting and should get priority on everything. About credit cards...if you live in US you don't have privacy anyways, plus as the others said just buy a gamecard. I buy 6 of them and I'm done with ESO for the current year, no stresses, no lapses, no credit cards without funds, it's very convenient. No excuse, really. I'm from Brazil I pay the equivalent of $45, if you live in US where overall pay is much higher and can't afford $15 on a hobby that is very time consuming and gives back 30 days of fun, don't whine about not getting everything the game offers.
