Vampire question for low level player

Hi, I'm just a level 8 NB, and I bought Vampire from the store. Questions:

1) I turned white, am I a vampire now? Or do I have to do a quest?
2) when can I slot any vampire abilities?
3) was it a waste of Crowns to buy Vampire at this low level?

Any advice would be appreciated.

You have to do a quest normally after bitten . I don't know with the crown store . Did it come with instructions ?

No instructions that I saw. I bought it and turned white. So that's just a bite?

Can I do the quest with a lvl 8 toon? If I don't it reverts and I lose the crowns?

No way at level 8 unless you are super good . The quest is in Bankori (I'm probably spelling it wrong) at the shrine where you get bitten . A scroll appears and after reading it the quest starts there at the tomb . Earliest I did it was level 20 . Not saying it's impossible . Sorry I just have no idea how the crown store one works . They should have posted instructions . Did the Vampire skill line open up under world skills ?

I believe all the crown store does in infect you with the disease, at that point you are on your own, just as initially after a fellow player bites you.

I got bit for AD faction by a regular vamp mob, I had to then find an NPC hanging outside a town in my final zone (Reapers March), who started me off on the quest to become a vampire.

My guess is there is some guy in Bankorai you have to talk to, I would just google it.

@billp_ESO its been done by low level toons, its VERY time consuming though .... check your skills page "K" look in the world tree, if u see vamparism then u should be completely vampire .... if not then u can watch this vid and give it a shot

if u do have to find the npc i believe he will be at near/next to one of the wayshrines

i figured it would be the way that @Roehamad_Ali stated though, since it is a crown store item it would be rather silly to have just half of it

That makes sense, just slot the first vamp skill somewhere then and start leveling up the skill line.

You are really not missing much with the quest, just sucking on a few necks and talking to an NPC that gives you some confusing lore to contemplate.

So you're all set ! Remember in order to feed you have to sneak up behind a NPC humanoid and pres X to lower your vampirism levels . The feed in the ability skill line doesn't do that . Go have fun an level .

I don't think you have to slot vampire skills to level vampire . I'll double check .

Yes, I do have Vampirism as a skill line, need a point to slot the first ability, so I guess I'm set.

I'm building a magicka NB based on siphoning and will use the vampire skills too.

FYI, i got vampireisum at level 5 and completed the quest, yes it was time consuming but it can be done

You don't need to slot a skill for the vamp tree to level, just did it on my stamblade.

Here's another quick question:
- Being a vamp means reduced resistance to fire dmg. Is there a way to see what my resistances are?
- i'm a dunmer, they have extra fire resistance, right? Does that affect vamp fire vulnerability?

There's also the quest in The Rift,and other places.Depending on which faction you play.

Do a search for the places in the different factions for where the shrines are.There is where you pick up the training quest "Scion of the Blood Matron".At least that is how it is when you have been bitten ingame.

Check your skills, if you have the vampire skill tree then you are full vampire. If you don't, then an NPC will meet you when you visit any wayshrine soon and direct you to the tomb where you become full vamp.
