Who Else Is Racing to CP 160?

I'm on 407 trying to reach 461 so I can hit the 501 allocation cap when I get my bonus 40. Doing random daily's and undaunted quests on multiple vet characters helps speed things up. Earning 3 or 4 points every couple of days but as I am on console and have to wait a couple of extra weeks for the patch I just might make it (could be some cramming done in the last few days though).

I'm just glad that with the bonus CP we get I'll hit the current 501 cap...good luck to those trying to race those first 160, the next 300 aren't as fun.

I don't get it, I got to 160 in a blink of an eye and I don't even have the time to play regularly....I'm always have enlightenment on, though I don't know why and how it works

You can do it! We believe in you! Also, check to see if you can't knock out some of those achievements you've been after while you're at it!! Maybe try to go for some of the collectibles achievements while grinding? It only takes about 2-10k monster kills to get it to drop one of the trophy items, that's just 5-25 hours of grinding a single monster type! Think of all the XP you can get! Heck, I'm over cap and just spent the time to get a Crypt Jar off of V3 Ancient Warriors in Shadowfen. Crap XP and I still managed to get a CP out of it. ;-)

(Seriously though try to double dip your efforts as much as possible, totally worth it)

As i understand it, if you are wearing vet16 gear today, but have less than 160 CP, then once DB goes live you will be automatically set to 160 CP(so you can continue wearing your gear) - there is no point racing specifically to CP 160 before DB. Or?

yes, everyone that has at least 1 v16 and 160 CP will get 40 CP. The CP cap only applies to the number of CP you can spend. There is no cap on accumulating CP.
We may not be able to spend our CP now but at some point they are raising the cap. All we (those that are at or above 501 currently) can do is accumulate CP until they DO decide to raise the cap and then we will be able to jump right up to the cap again. They have to give some kind of incentive to keep playing and progressing

As far I know they are not rising the cap with DB, only each DLC after that.

I think it's quite an accomplishment to reach into the 400 or maxed out. You definitely been playing a long time and killed a lot of enemies. Once the quests are done, not much more to do to get more CP than just to go around and killing. I still enjoy getting into the fray with the big V16 bosses fight, but hopefully once I reach into the 400, I don't take so much damage and be able to dish out more damages. I'm still at awe when I see someone take out a giant or mammoth with only a few hits within a few seconds. Must be maxed out in CP.

Well...I'm at 13 xD Just reached 50 on my first character. I'll get to what I can get to, though 160 would be nice, it's far too far off for me in just a week of casually questing. I'm not about to disrupt my enjoyment of the story just to grind!

I'm at like 136 or something, and my highest character is v9, so the veteran rank bonus will get me within a couple CP away, but I think I'll play a bit before then to get it right to 160.

I actually dont stop paying attention to the story. I made 23 CP over a weekend by playing through Rivenspire. Payed attention to the story and didnt rush through the dialogue. Im sure I could of made a few more by hitting every delve, world boss, dolmens and locale. But I can always come back and do that later.

I'm just playing the game, and CP's come as they come.
