You only get 40 CP for V16.

Nope am racing to 400.

That way I'll have 440 with DB. Lots of less grinding to the cap.

Damn @Korah_Eaglecry I never realized you were below 160. Honestly thought this was a troll thread when I saw the title and author. Figured most old timers with multiple characters are well above the 400 mark (maybe less then well since the brutalizing increases after 501). I haven't been online in months and Im, at maybe 440, 430, 435? Idk somewhere around there.

I mean I think if you've finished gold twice, or three times, you'd be well past 160 at this point.

Good luck getting there though and enjoy the gear and star unlocks that come with

Race?
I burn enlightenment easily every day playing pvp or a random dungeon,
On track to be over cap when DB drops and will go from having 2 max level characters to 6. So much gear swapping ahead, so glad for the banker!
After you burn your free cp a day focus on alts.
Mad at your friends? roll a gankblade for another faction!
Have a favorite tv show character? recreate them in game and stat leveling.

I've been playing since pc launch and I'm only at just over 160 now

Yes. Each account with at least one v16 char will receive 40 CP. The fact that you are (or will be) above cap doesn't matter. Especially since the cap can and will be higher in the future. Your CP grind will never stop.

That blows my mind. Enjoy the cp star passives. I was always a huge fan of windrunner when you get there.

When the cp system first dropped it was tiresome gaining cp by questing. But after Orsinium questing for 30 minutes would absolutely gain me an enlightened cp. I read the text, dont listen, so that speeds it up a bit.

If you have some days of enlightenment stored up you can run some dungeons or head to cyro and zerg surf turning in the kill quests. Those activites eat up enlightenment quick.

No, not a troll. I took a break before CP was introduced on PC and then I picked up the Console edition for PS4. Been slowly moving multiple characters up to the VR levels. Originally I wanted to spread the crafting out on 4 characters and have them sort of cover each other as I leveled them up hoping to save some gold on the climb as I find myself buying enchantments for my characters all the time. I also figured it make the CP grind a bit easier since each character would add to the CP pool over time. So here I am, almost a year after console release and Im only now climbing the CP ladder.

O sweet that sounds like a good idea. Makes more sense too I thought you'd been continuous PC. A little trick I did for enchanting was pick one character (ramoc) and feed them all the dropped enchants I find. So that character ended up racing up the enchantment tree being able to feed out to my other characters whatever they needed from that skill. There was a hell of a lot inventory management as my bank was storing lots of enchants for decon at times.

Totally understand though if that doesn't your character stories though.

Thats what Im doing with Enrerion. Hes my Enchanter/Alchemist but both have been a bit of a pain to level up. Alchemy has been a bit easier and Im now in the home stretch. But Ive just passed the level 35 mark for enchanting. My two VR characters feed him a dozen plus every day and I do the writs for him. I'll get him there eventually.

Yes, I'm sooo close, I'm at 746! ...Just kidding of course, I can count, that is 586 CP more than 160. XD So sad, I never get to apply freshly earned Champion Points, maybe ever at this rate. ;-;

I've probably played this game for like 600 hours and only have 156 CP. It's mainly because every time I hit v1 I made an alt and started levelling it so my highest vet is only v4
But I mainly pvp'ed and didn't really quest most of the time or grind so I would be levelling much slower.

Try to think of it as a bag of sweets: you eat 501 and you're full, but the remaining ones still look so good...

At this rate, that'll be the cap in 2020. Before Thieves Guild, they said they'd raise the cap by 51 points in the Dark Brotherhood patch, but now we won't be getting a cap raise in DB. Hopefully there won't be another delay.

The cap isn't changing with db. As for me I'm hoping to hit 461 from 422 ish so I'll be at cap when the dlc hits. But the 13m xp I need to get there is rather daunting.
