Is it just me or cant anyone find any VR1-VR5 food recipes? I've checked dozens of guild traders and have come across none.

If you are looking for writ recipes, check the brewer and chef in any major city, they now sell writ recipes. If not, just go to the first zone in Caldwell silver and search backpacks, you should find recipes pretty easy that will be leveled to that area(vr1).

People are less likely to sell recipes for VR1, 5, and 10 as you need to be in very specific zones to find those recipes; once you get into VR range you can jump to anywhere skipping those areas entirely or just be there briefly. Most aren't going to stay in those zones for long enough periods to farm for recipes regularly, you may have to go scour for them yourself.

If you haven't leveled ledger mane, just do your stealing in the V1-V5 zones. That way, you're making money and multitasking while farming recipes.

I am missing some vr1-5 recipes but no where near as many as the pre vet level recipes (in particular level 25), they can be found throughout the whole of cadwells silver which gives people more time to find duplicates to sell. I'd put a shortage on guild traders down to not that many people on silver any more combined with more people deciding to try and 100% recipes known. Check some of the less popular traders and/or try to find a decent stealing run to try and get them yourself

If you take some points out of provisioning to reflect the level you are after and then hit the daily writs you will get a load at the right level.
