Do we need a synergy design rework?

I like synergies, and we even have alot of powerful sets who works with a synergy.
Synergy also allowes us to tweak our builds with more dmg and less sustain, due to shards and mana orbs for example.

It might be me that need to l2p. If that is the case, please teach me.
Because I struggle so much with synergies. They are there, I can see them, then they dissapear and im standing there like a noob, trying desperate to find the synergy again. running around in small circles like; dont mind me, im just.. saw a synergy here somewhere? Then it pops up for half a second before it is gone again.

Also its very annoying when you have to press conduit and purify before finally finding the shards.

I also have seen myself running past a shard, and can still pick it up even when im like 20 meters away from it, but not while actually standing in the circle. It feels like whoever finds it first, have the power to press it, no matter where they are or something.

So how does a synergy actually work, how is it coded/programmed. Does it needs a rework or do I just need to l2p?

Maybe adjust a different key for it?

I've considerate to use a mouse-key for this purpose, since I can't seem to catch the synergies and often I tab into a menu instead, because I press the wrong buttons.

yeah I actually have it on my mouse, not best access but its ok. Maybe I could see if I find a better one.
I still feel I cant fully trust the synergies for a reason

Synergies could be a bit more forgiving. I think it would be nice if you could animation cancel into a synergy as a start. All too often I'm in the middle of my puncturing sweeps and a good synergy comes up. You only have a split second to hit it most times. Multiple synergies covering each other up is annoying but I'm not certain how to fix that. Even worse is when the "planar inhibitor is focused on you" covers up a synergy. Very annoying.

You can bind synergy to mouse wheel, it makes things much easier.
And there's also a special sound when you have a synergy available, and all spells you can synergize have visuals.

Sometimes they just don't work period in lag . You can depress any key of your choosing and nothing . Also the notification index for break free covers it up even after its broken in lag . I'd be all for hearing any new ideas for synergies .

For me they don't pop up except by the tank or healer.
I think if you do animation canceling all the time it's near impossible to use them.
But anyways they do not increase my dps and my magicka never goes down with or without potion so I can't care less for them

Well pressing two buttons on console is really irritating. Like in imperial prison, with the grenades. So fiddly. Let me swap out change perspective button and emote buttons to synergy and ultimate please. Two buttons to do them doesn't cut it.

If they rework it they should let WW's activate synergies!
