Crafting Short pants

It took a while before we got Tunics added as a craftable object as an alternative to robes, before you could only obtain them as dropped loot from very specific sets. Now that there are costumes that feature short pants such as the Graht-Climbers Active Wear, how about adding them as a craft for light and medium armor?

✭Hey militaries around the world do have shorts, why not implement it in a computer game?

I really don't think it looks good in any way, and I prefer stuff like kilts - but I don't want to limit mine or others options in this game. I think it would be cool to have shorts

And in that spirit, I often wish that the game allowed more customization options... all those pants, and no short skirts/kilts? Meh...
I for one would love it if there was more to clothing then we had right now. Perhaps some choice between winter and summer version for many a piece? Winter version in full coverage, summer version in short/light design? Winter boots and summer sandals? Winter pants and summer kilts? Winther robes and summer vests? Winter fur hats and summer facemasks? Winter gauntlets and summer fingerless gloves? Things like that...
Of course, me being me, I'd also want the summer version have a bit less damage resistance, yet have people suffer a penalty wearing the wrong stuff in the wrong area... Winter gear in Alik'r? Halve stamina recovery as you sweat and get dangerously close to heatstroke represented by a random chance to sudder a stun out of the blue. Summer gear in Eastmarch? Suffer permanant DoT as you freeze off your ears and nose, your fingers toes and... e-hem.
And of course, swimming penalties for all kinds of clothes...
Oh, well... I guess not many people would agree with wanting more clothing realism, not when they prefer not to think about stuff but just dash into the fray as they please.2 -

Female Argonian in the mid levels does have a short, well, mid thigh, skirt if you choose pants. I know it is for Medium armor. I don't remember the ranges these show up in, but it is like 16 to 34 for sure. It might continue on for a couple more tiers
