✭✭✭✭✭My 4 VR16s are swimming in unused skill points because they did just about every bit of skill point producing content they could. The unlimited crafting bags will make the hirelings even better. I get gold tempers often enough that the use of skill points was worth it, and I wait until I have a full stack of mats and refine them for a chance at more gold tempers."Get off my lawn!"0 -
DurzoBlint13✭✭✭✭my hireling and writs are about the only way I get gold tempers and Kutas anymore since with every patch they seem to stealth nerf the drop rate. 4 months ago I could refine 200 ore and reliably get 1-2 Alloys. Now I can refine 1000 ore and MAYBE I will get one....maybe. Yet I consistently get 5-10 Alloys a week between my characters from hirelings and writs0 -

You can go to wrothgar or hews bane and get 200 of each mat in 15 -30 mins. 5 days, 7 chars. Mats good for next to nothing. Taking up inventory space. My banks full my characters full. I have unlocked everything.
Again they are useless.
I'm guessing you're just swimming in Gold mats like Tempering Alloys and Dreugh Wax aren't you?
Dreugh wax everyone should be swimming in, you go to old orsinium run the circle leveling a char by the time the character is v1 you will have enough scrap to get 50-100 wax.
Tempering alloy its just a matter of putting in the grind work, i just hate mindlessly picking up mats for hours. That does strike me as fun. I have golded out i think about 8 heavy sets. But im a fickle *** and like to try them all.

✭They're not entirely useless, bu they could be revamped to be more useful at higher levels.
I think nobody epic-fy a low level equipment, only at VR16. So when getting closer to VR16 the hirelings could bring these materials more often. Not at the point to flood everything and thus destroying the economy, but once per week or twice a month IF at 3/3, wouldn't be a big deal I guess.I am the very model of a scientist Salarian, I've studied species Turian, Asari, and Batarian.

Keep turning off hirelings, while I get my kuta, dreugh wax and tempering alloy daily from them. I have two char maxed, and between two sets of writs and two deliveries, I almost always have a gold upgrade material.
But they're worthless, I forgot. Lol0
