Plus, if you're fishing just for the Roe, you're doing it wrong. (No offense intended)
Not true for everyone. I fish cause it's relaxing. My wife asks me to turn on the sound if I'm fishing so she can hear the birds and water and ambience. Then the Roe is just icing. Perhaps you should adjust your expectations, cause these types of complaints always sound a little privilegey.
Like I said, to take a break from the countless problems plaguing tamriel. AKA relaxing
Wrong. Nothing like you said. Although, you can reinterpret it to fit your agenda, which is what you did.
It's to relax, just like the rest of the game. I don't have all these "problems" you do with the game.
Your interpretation of the state of the game is not necessarily the same for everyone else.
ZOS REALLY needs to introduce a fishing skill line with passive skills that increase RNG chances...

Mmm, I don't know that I agree completely. Maybe it shouldn't be so extremely rare. But if it isn't, the price for it goes down. It depends on whether you're the fishmonger or the cook, doesn't it?

I'm in agreement that I'd like to see a skill line on it. I like to see skill lines on everything. It's why I like Bethesda ES games where you can master anything (but not everything). As ESO grows, with a finite 300 sp, professionals at this or that will show up more and more. Imagine having a "Deadliest Catch" title or something and people with that title are the only ones who can harvest/craft something that a "Ponce in Floppy White Cap" needs to make some ultimate "sparkly gold" cake that grants 200% xp, 10k in H/M/S and +2k to regen in all stats. And each slice of the cake cost 1m gold.
I'm rambling, but I'm fascinated by game mechanics that foster that sort of economy.

I did not say problems plaguing the game. This is a MMO. There will be issues. It's to be expected. You will rarely ever see me complain about technical problems. Tamriel is facing Armageddon with every settlement under siege by some bad guy or other. It's amazing any friendly NPC's even survive this "plague" of hostilities.

My bad. Sorry about that. It sounded like another "Fishing is pointless. Everything sucks in Tamriel." type of comment. I think I've been reading too many negative threads on here and assumed you were doing the same. Time to go back to playing the game, I guess.

》No. You just have bad luck with the RNG.
The prices and supply show that less people are getting them though.
》Wrong. It shows that less people care to fish now that the double fish exploit is gone.
Either the double fish needs to be returned as a feature of the game, or the value of perfect roe needs to rise even higher. That much fishing just isn't worth most peoples time & the RNG on top of that just pours salt on an open wound.

I didnt pay any attention to that double fish exploit. I still fish all the time. It's just peaceful fun between killing monsters and baddies.
