Deconstruct every gear and runes you get (and don't need) and get enough skill points to spend for crafting. Then start doing the writs. And always have your research slots filled up.
Level up all (weapon) skill lines and every skill while questing. Just put for example a dual wield skill on your 2h bar. The exp gain will also increase your dual wield bar. Level the skill lines up that way and level each skill up to be morpheable. Spares you a lot of hassle later on.
I joined a big PvE guild and they taught me everything I needed to know about the game. Then it's just about practice.
Same goes for PvP. Join a guild, run with them. You'll learn over time and depending on your commitment of course.
Learn about animation canceling (important for end game content and PvP).
Watching youtube videos of PvPers also help improve.

Thanks Wollust! I'll definitely look into that on the guilds and great info on the leveling. Question. Can you explain the 2h bar? I'm so ignorant in a lot of these things but with help I can learn.

    2h means 2 handed weapon. That's the big sword/maul/axe.
The most essential weapon for a stam class for PvP due to the skill Rally (self heal and weapon damage buff).

    Thanks!

p.s if you put the @ sign before naming people then it's easier to type names and they get notified.

p.p.s. enchantments. A priority for deconstruction. Higher quality crafted glyphs have value at any level. Enchanting is easier to level the higher level you start and are and great for either higher damage, better recovery or reduced cost.
#1 tip (Re)check your graphics settings periodically - especially resolution.

Too bad you're in the EP, I would play with you if you were in either the AD or DC as I have vets in both. I have a low level EP character but I really hate the land and quests so it's hard for me to push through with a new character.

I'm no master but I suggest you feel out what best suits you and the way you like to play as the meta builds might have a different play style then what you enjoy. Playing solo and learning, along with a couple respecs has got me to a point where I feel comfy with my characters (not my Templar though). I'm still learning as I go but at least I'm doing what feels right and enjoying the game along the way.

Btw the lady stone seems like a waste, they put it in the starter zone for a reason ;)

    OP,
    - ditch stamina for now and be a magicka.( later when you reach v16 then go for stamina, if you want)
    -be a vampire.
    -craft gear.
    - grind/ do questing to get at least 300 CP

Lastly, it will take months for you to know the game inside out. Till then take your time and play also have fun.

    Yes!
Because if you go magicka NB then you don't have the passives of medium armor sneak bonus as well as the race dunmer doesnot have any passives for stealth.

Vampire provides you that stealth bonus.
Trust me even my character was a stamina dunmer and she was burning resources very fast.

When I switched to magicka with vampire, I could be in stealth like forever and also very fast.
Due to dark stalker passive( in the DB patch, you will be able to get supernatural recovery without slotting an ability, which increases your resouces)

Vampire also have a very good active and ultimate ability like:( not to mention that their passives are awesome)

    - Exclusive Mist ( morph of mist form)
In DB, this will be your life saver in sticky problems like if you are enable to be in cloak due to caltrops.

    - Clouding swarm/ devouring swarm ( ultimate, morph of bat swarm)
Clouding swarm is very good for a NB due to the sneak damage bonus for a NB also escape from battle.

Devouring swarm can save your life if your in danger or in can be an offensive skill.( I mostly use this in PvE dungeons)

In short, Vampire is very good for a magickaNB.

Anything other then the lady ha. It really depends on your play style and what skills you use. On my redguard nightblade I use the warrior for more weapon damage as they're a dual wielding stamina based werewolf but others prefer critical strike stones.

One of the easiest thing to do is :

    A) Always focus all your ressource into a specific ressource, don't split inbetween magika and stamina

    B) Always get the proper gear for your playstyle, if you are stamina user go medium armor, and if you are magika user go light if you are a Tank better go heavy at first

    C) Figure out a rotation, the skill you have can become better if you use them in some kind of synergie, so try to stick with a rotation while you are fighting it will help you increase your dps, as far as pvp goes try to figure out which skill should be use at what moment.

    D) Buy the proper food, if you want to gain capacity while doing dongeon and pvp you need to have the right kind of food, for PVE Dps priviligiate Max Hp/Ressource (blue) while Healer usually go for Max Hp, Ressource regeneration (knowing that you have the right food will help you out)

    E) Try to focus on the appropriate content as you start, so at first do the normal dungeon and as you think you got a hold of them move foward to the veteran dongeon. Try to avoid ICP, WGT and COA at the moment as far as veteran mode goes those are not representative of the overall game difficulty and you should not benefit from going there at this point.

    F) Don't forget to look at passive ability Inside your class tree if you want to gain more ability as you level. You'll realise that those are almost as important as active ability so try to gather some skill point to unlock those. Normal dungeon, Skyshard hunting and Public Dongeon are three really good way to gather those wanted skill point.

P.S. If you have issue with finding Skyshard an add-on may help you out. Try to download it with minion.

    G) Have fun while doing so !

Fastest way to max crafting is to go into the guilds ( in particular at Elden Root ) and steal all armour and weapons then log out and back in and steal again, do this until your inventory is full then deconstruct everything. Make sure you fence your stolen loot too once per day this also levels up legerdemain. I have a separate toon just for crafting weapons and armour but if you are going to do that make sure you finish all the maps with your faction first so you can get to all the set crafting stations. I maxed leveled all my crafting in 1 week using the stealing method only working on it 1 hr per day.

To level alchemy fast just buy a heap of regredients and solvent from guild stores and just start crafting, I max leveled alchemy in 30 mins doing this.

Unfortunatly there is no easy way to level enchanting that I know of.

Sorry tons to read here and my time is limited so I'll reply first and read everyone else later.

    Have you ever watched Twitch.tv?
If you want to pve, look up Deltia on his website, on YouTube, and then watch him stream for a while on Twitch. He generally had good pve advice and is thorough enough on his videos and writeups to help newer players.

If you want to learn pvp, as a nightblade, you may check out Sypher. He's probably a little more for the advanced as he moves and talks fast. But his nightblade skills are TOP NOTCH in pvp and his builds are quite viable.

Liv3mind, as I see already chimed in above had done A LOT of work and theory crafting. You can definitely trust his (?) advice on nightblade.

Also check out the nightblade theorycrafting forum on Tamriel Foundry. Some are out of days but most are close enough that you can learn some of the basics from them.

Finally, stop making excuses and TRY some of this stuff. Most players won't be as mean as you think. Sure, some are over entitled brats. But most are friendly people and you will find probably one or two in every dungeon group you get that may be willing to help, offer advice, etc.

Remember: at some point in time EVERYONE was a noob. Best way to learn is by trying. Just make sure that when you do fail (and you will)... fail forward

    READ HERE:
As for champion points I can tell you what to take sure, but remember a lot of it is dependent on what your actual goal is, what your gear setup is like and what your build requires...

AS a rule of thumb I always do this:

Stack the most Thief points into cost reduction of the attribute the char is using, second most Thief points into the resource regen of said attribute ( a 70-30% scale is a good measurement ).

IF you PvP a lot you can also put points into tumbling if you are like me and like dodge rolling to safety

The CP tree lady is not bad at all I always put points into Elemental defender and Hardy( fire dmg is a b!#*%$ ) usually a 35%-35% meaning that it gets the bulk of my warrior CP's, the rest I usually put into Resistance for PvP and some into Quick Recovery ( Lord for added healing when playing templar, DK) this is the majority of my CP tree build however I usually custom cater to my needs and gear for that char. The important thing OP is read the effects what they do and decide what your aim is. Not one person is going to play 100% the same as another. However we are merely helping you in the right direction, keep in mind someone else might want to put some more into block expertise or something else...

When playing Magicka chars I always put points into this order:

    Elemental Expert: 60%
    Elfborn: 10-20%
    Spell Erosion 20-30%
Note they are all within the Apprentice tree, when playing Stam chars replace with Ritual Tree

EDIT: Ok I seem to have screwed up my own quote of your stuff when trying to add the second quote so I will just write READ HERE at the TOP

    Crafted set.
    5x julanios / 5x karganec set.
2x torug pact.( weapons, dual wielding)
    2x magnus.

If your crafting lvl is low then go
    5x magnus.
4x torug pact. ( weapons, head and shoulders)

    Mundus stone.
    Shadow
    best for NB.

    CP tree
    Blue tree
    Elemental expert- 100
    Elfborn - 37
    Thaumaturge- 30

    Red tree
    Hardy - 60
    Elemental defender- 67
    Resistant - 20
    Ouick recover- 20

    Green tree.
    Magician- 100
    Arcanist - 67
Since your regent is low as a dunmer race.

Will power rings and use spell power gylps.

Armor go 4x magicka glyps and 3x health.

Attributes put all points in magicka.
    PvP
    Bar 1
    DW( dual wielding)
Lotus fan, conceal weapon, cloak, sap essence, inner light.
    Ultimate : soul harvest

    Restoration staff
    Bar 2
Proxy detonation, double take, purge, healing ward, merciless resolve.
Ultimate: soul tether/ clouding swarm/ barrier.

    For PvE.
    Bar 1
Lotus fan, sallow soul( main DPS), twisted path, sap essence ( main AoE dps)and impale (execute)/ inner light
    Ultimate: soul harvest.

    Bar2
Proxy detonation, crippling crasp, magicka harness, healing ward, merciless resolve ( very good for huge DPS)
Ultimate: Soul tether/ Devouring swarm/shooting star.

    Edit:
Rotation for PvE and in dungeons

Merciless resolve>Proxy deto> crippling crasp>lotus fan> twisted path>sap essence> sallow soul> when ultimate is full then lotus fan> soul harvest/ soul tether.( for boss)

-Sap essence increases your spell damage for 20 sec.

    For mobs
Proxy deto> twisted path> sap essence( many times till x mobs are dead)
-Sap eessence+ Proxy deto+ soul tether is the best AoE kill.

If you want to do more damage then remove magicka harness and replace it with reapers mark.

If your magicka is coming to an end then use merciless resolve and do 4 light attacks that will process assassins will ( best DPS in the game). Also, do 1 heavy attack with restoration staff to get x magicka.
    Lastly,
Unlock undaunted passive for 5-1-1 ratio

If not, then go all light armor with one heavy armor( for not being squishy)

Your build really rely on multiple feature atm, as far as i can tell, you are spec as a tank atm

If you want to focus on DPS, best is to go all attributes in one stats (not even in health, might use enchant on your gear for that aspect). Also as far as champion point goes, you will soon reach the 90cp mark which mean you have the possibility to unlock the +10% crit passif either from magika or from stamina. Best way to do so is to focus 100% into mighty (ritual) if you go stamina and elemental expert (apprentice) if you go magika.

Also as far as the green tree's goes you might want to focus on the tower, more then from the shadow, you can still use 10 pts there if you the bonus to chest but it's a very unlikely tree except for pvp.

BTW if you go magika there might be a better bonus for you to go 2-handed sword instead of going DW sword on the long run (there's a post about that aspect in tamriel foundry but I can't find it atm).

    take care !
