Thread bump! Thanks for the feedback on the changes to Power Bash. We agree with a lot of the things said in this thread and have made some revisions to this ability and its morphs based on your comments.

In the next PTS build, you should see the following changes:
    • Power Bash and Reverberating Bash changes have been mostly reverted; these abilities are back to dealing low damage and stunning the enemy hit.
    • The disorient on these abilities has been removed, but the stun duration has been increased to 3 seconds, up from 2 seconds.
    • Power Slam will remain as-is. It removes the stun in exchange for significantly higher damage, with the option for additional bonus damage after a blocked attack.
Our goal with these changes is to keep Power Bash and Reverberating Bash as a option for playstyles utilizing the crowd control or Major Defile healing debuff, while Power Slam becomes an option for playstyles that do not need those auxiliary effects and want to emphasize dealing damage while using the One Hand and Shield skill line.

HOLY ***! It's honestly so surreal and cool that my thread made an influence and a difference! These are the exact changes that we wanted! And it's awesome that you keep the other morph of Power Slam as is for more variety! THANKS!

Thanks for listening to feedback @ZOS_KNowak . This helps build diversity. Now can you or your colleagues please comment on the concerns regarding 60% cost increase poisons? There are 2 popular threads about them.

To be fair, the CC is still kinda buggy. But that's not the skills fault but rather the whole CC system that is kinda messed up.

Aw...i was hoping the major defile would gain damage and the other morph be stun oriented. I was quite liking the ability changes.

That doesn't make sense. The defile and CC should be on the utility morph, can you not see how that's the whole point of this thread? To return Reverb Bash to the niche and incredibly vital role it plays on sword and board builds. Without it, sword and board dps set ups are far, far less effective. The damage component is irrelevant, it's all about the utility.

Great job @Yoyuyi999 for taking the initiative with this thread, and thank you so much Zenimax for listening to our feedback. I was genuinely getting worrying for the viability of sword and board builds, and really glad to see his change reverted. You guys keep making this patch better and better every day, keep up the great work!

Thank you SO much for keeping Power Slam the way it is with bonus damage. When I read that you had reverted both of them I was extremely worried, as it was about to kill the entire purpose of a new build I was planning on making. I've always wanted a build that did damage with Shields and was more of a Juggernaut/Bruiser than a full on tank.

This entire PTS has been truly impressive, the amount of good coming from it and your quick response on feedback brings back so much hope and passion I have for this game. I hope this trend continues and improves!

So is the next patch also going to make it do Significantly higher damage? Because currently its only slightly more powerful then Ransack in damage, but almost double the stamina cost
