Great news, I hope the jewelry has a chance to drop in purple at least.

Yes in the thread they mentioned that all the sets are upscaled to Champion point 160 so the new max level.CatchMeTrolling wrote: »But are they champion point 160 or whatever?
However, still need to address the ability and willpower being worlds above in damage what other jewelry sets are currently. I don't want us to have all these great build ideas and be pidgeonholed by agility and willpower cause they're just too good to give up, is all.

Pretty sure the Willpower, Endurance, and Agility sets have set bonuses which are 1.5x the values of normal set bonuses. Hopefully ZOS can set them to normal values eventually to incentivize build diversity. We shall see
Either way, these CP160 sets are a step in the right direction!
I won't be impressed until they bring back warlock

If they did that why would anyone use them? The way to grow diversity is to give us more options which is what they're finally doing. The only thing it's doing is stopping you from getting a 2nd 5-piece bonus if you want all 3 from agi/wp. Though maybe it might be fun to see every player running around with two 5-piece sets and monster helm/shoulders in their 12 slots. IMO there will always be one set that becomes a unanimous choice for BiS and then people will complain there's no diversity again.I won't be impressed until they bring back warlock
So sentimental -_-
I've never been a fan of the standardized set bonuses. Part of the fun of RPG's of the pass has been finding truly best in slot gear. Farming legendary pieces in D3 for hours on hours only to get a piece that didn't have the absolute highest roll on the stats it could; that was some fun min/maxing.

Says the guy still reading the ESO forums after not playing for like 9 months...

You have an unusual definition of "fun"

I don't know anyone else that thinks this way
Some people enjoy the RPG aspect of RPG's instead of, you know, what we currently have where everyone is done gearing after the first day or two and you have nothing to look forward to. At this point gear in ESO is basically a base costume that can be covered up with a different one if you want.
