Yup.... I like this idea. Especially for thirty day campaigns.

Being serious here, even you have pointed out that it's kinda BS how he has done this in zone chat.

That means that he's not too hard to dethrone when DC/EP come on. As an added bonus his salty whispers to people in group when dethroned keep us all amused.

He does a decent job tanking as a nightblade though. He uses his emp buffs the right way. I say this as an EP player who does get frustrated with the current situation on Haderus.

He uses the emp buffs the opposite way of how he should, thats why he is the subject of such derision.
A good emperor actually kills things, lots of things, without siege. His whole gameplan is to "not die" which is stupid cause everyone dies. Maximize damage output and kill all the things, the best emperors leave dozens of bodies in their wake, solo or even with just a few supporters. He is lost in a sea of 50+ support pugs making him completely irrelevant unless a coldstone treb is fired by him.
The AD perma emp is a sad running joke, all about e-peen and no substance. Now if someone substantial, sayyyyyyy Hovaling or Fireshot were to come back and get emp, id be worried about that one.

What if they get it at 3 am, sleeping, and get dethroned when they wake up? They lost their one time emperorship.
That's a dumb idea.
