if PTS patch notes stay "as is" for sorcs what will you be doing?

does it? does it really? so if I drop 34 points into dot resist, hardy, and elemental resistance. don't run shields. jump in impenetrable heavy gear I won't get murdered faster then any other class? I'm not going to debate this. I respect your right to your opinion... but I've actually tested this stuff, and tried to get away from shields, and I've tanked and played multiple roles through the hardest dungeons and pvp this game has to offer. I know it doesn't work. just like I know my 75k hp build up above would save me from someone at my level of pvp for maybe 5-6 seconds before they'd kill it. Sorcs don't have the same damage mitigation techniques as other classes, they don't have stable on demand heals, and you can't understand that issue till your actually there trying to adapt to the deep weaknesses of the class against actually decent pvpers (not zerglings) and for pve... we don't have dps to spare...so running shields is no longer an option. So losing sorc shields is a pretty hefty hit. but if your running cookie cutter your 2 dodge rolls and half a block will probably be enough to get you through to the end of the day.Edited by NativeJoe on May 14, 2016 2:12AM650cp+ Sorcerer 100+ days /played

This pretty much narrows down the diversity of any effective Magicka Sorc build.

Good to know. just havn't seen it.
But I tried to put disparity there because a pet sorc, isn't a pet sorc just because they slot a pet. they gotta wear supporting gear and it has to be vital to their rotation. So a spell power stacking sorc slotting volitile familar on both bars instead of say, pulsar and boundless storm doesn't suddenly make them anymore of a pet sorc then slotting a restoration staff makes them a healer.
Would it be any good for you guys? I mean our class pets scale off nothing but magicka, and the proc sets have like 5% chance on light attack to spawn...so.... that right there is why I didn't list it.
