Vampire-Werewolf-Centric DLC... Discuss!

So we've had Orc-centric DLC, Imperial-centric DLC, Thief-centric DLC and now we're getting Dark Brotherhood-centric DLC. Been pretty happy with all of those! So one day I hope we'll get some vampire and werewolf-centric DLC and decided to create a thread to knock around ideas and hopefully give ZOS some hints of what we'd like to see!

So, as the title says... Discuss! :)

    No, change timer to longer time, that will suffice.

    If I have to choose: a completely new class: the Unarmed Combat Monk.
    This would, IMHO, better suit the game.

    I could be wrong, but this is how I see it.

    I'd rather them work on the WW/Vamp Skill Lines before adding content for them. They need some work, WW specifically.

    This one very much enjoyed how, while affected by the bat bite, his naturally stealthy paws could slip to within 2 meters of the evil other alliances before being detected. And recalls how the speed of those super stealthy paws carried him away from dangerous crowds in cyrodiil many times. Also, even though the bat bite turned his mantle of sleek ebony fur into a coat of snow, the tips of his ears remained deeply black. It made for quite the contrast.

    If it were not for the pain of fire, this one would have hunted priests of arkay to slake his thirst rather than pay them to remove the bite.

    If there's a vamp dlc, I want the ability to feed off other players in cyrodiil added. Create achievements, 'blood connoisseur' for feeding off all the possible character class/race/alliance combinations. 'Dire hunter' for racking up 10/100/500/1000 different prey fed from. 'Mist on the breeze' category for pulling off stealthy acts like getting past entire dungeons without detection OR using night blade cloak. Plenty of other things. A 'Lord of the night' title for completing the whole shebang.

    Silver Dawn as a joinable faction maybe? (to kill the werewolves of course mwahaha)

    Also, joinable Werewolf packs and Vampire clans?

    Werewolf and Vampire specific Items that can be crafted.

    Would love to see a new armour motif with a unique function... any armour (not weapons) crafted in this style will also appear on your transformed werewolf, and ideally the armour will look pretty similar to it's non-transformed state. Equipped armour from other styles would disappear as normal, for example you may have WW wearing a chest, belt and breeches but nothing else because the other armour disappeared. Anyone who doesn't like the idea can just craft items in any other style.

    Hidden crafting stations that have 5 piece bonuses specific to vampires and werewolves would be a really nice addition as well. Anything that adds options and depth to the supernatural ways we can play our characters is welcome.

    I'd love to have more vamp and Wolf content for sure! I just hope it's done in a way that not everyone will want to be one, it's nice that it is not mandatory and only for those who want to do it. if later everyone is a wolf or vampire it wold lose its fun.

    The DLCs have been centered around a some. A geographical area. What geographical area is heavily vampire and werewolf in lore? If there isn't one it cannot happen.

    "it cannont happen" everything can happen, the devs just have to decide on it.If they think for some reason a particular topic would be very popular for a DLC they'll do it, and probably won't care about not being centered on a specific place.

    Exactly. Just look at the Thieves Guild. The quest line is short, the area is tiny as F-. You're pretty much just paying for the skill line. Or The Imperial City....all you get is 2 dungeons and a city.

    I think it's very possible for WW/Vamp DLC.

    With both Questlines to become either, they've laid the foundation for what could be very compelling content. I think Zeni could build on that and offer quite a lot to the game.

    Question: I am not thoroughly versed in the entire Elder Scrolls Universe. Is Vampire or Werewolfs the only mystical beings born out of blood in the universe? Are there other types beside those like Dragonborn or something else?

    I am looking forward to cash shop-centric DLC. It could have a fitting, lore friendly title, such as the Merchants Guild, Corporate Brotherhood, or even City of Cash. In the collector's edition, the main antagonist would be voiced by Pete Hines himself (I liked his performance ESO live episode "Matt & Paul announce P2W transition with sour faces").

    I like this idea. People seem to forget that being a werewolf or a vampire is not socially acceptable. The Dawnguard would need to be around to eliminate the threat of these abominations. That was the best part of the PVP portion of the Justice System. Besides, we could get a dedicated crossbow skill line. And, yes, I have a PVP vamp. She stays in stage 4 and thanks to CP, she has decent health regen and resistance to fire (and frost, shock and magic attacks). I loved the Dawnguard DLC for Skyrim. It is my favorite DLC for that game.

    Actually, a better idea would be to fix what already exists. Namely Cyrodil.

    You can already feed off of enemy players, You just need to sneak up behind them while still in stealth.

    Even though most of my characters are vampire I dont think they should do a dlc thats vampire and werewolf specific as thats not really any good for those that dont play as either

    I'd love to have dlc based on werewolves! Many good ideas in this thread! I think it would be awesome that at the end of the dlc you get awarded a polymorph that keeps you in werewolf form, perhaps even several colour fur types to choose from. :)

    Vampire clans, hopefully plural. Even if you can only join one. Three factions the player gets to join, much like how the game allowed 3 alliances, have to choose one - hunter, vampire, or werewolf. Location? Could be near the Rift, then it would also work with parts of Vvardenfell archipelago. Regardless, it'd have to be some place in the northern half where there are vampires and werewolves for it to work. Is Skingrad far enough north? Idk...

    We already have an entire zone surrounding Vampires and the zone before that focused heavily on werewolves we don't need anymore, what we could do better then just having Generic Vampire and Werewolf content is add something new to the table like I don't know how about becoming a Lich? as a Pure Magicka Equivalent of the Werewolf as Vampires seem to be 50/50 between Magicka and Stamina, we have already seen the majesty of the Vampire Lord and its demi-god like power however adding them would break lore as very few exist but a Lich however is not only powerful but oddly it's quite common so its something we could have that wouldn't break lore. (I once fought 6 of them at a Dolmen, if that doesn't tell you they are common then I don't know what common is)

    Hell they could do that with a Necromancy themed DLC instead of something vampire or werewolf based as I said we already have entire zones based on them, anyway in a Necro DLC they could add a Necromancy skillline that everyone can learn and an optional lich transformation with it's own skilline where to get it you would be cursed somehow by an enemy that would lead you to becoming one, it could function just like the vampire and werewolf spawns only where a Lich enemy that spawns uses a spell on you causing you to be severely effected by his magic which somehow eventually turns you into a Lich yourself, of course vampires and werewolves would be unable to become lichs and vice versa.

    They could get the same weakness's as vampires but instead of needing to drink blood they need to consume the souls of their enemies and failure to consume souls would render you frail and deader looking where devouring enough souls would make you powerful and look fresh.

    Bankorai and Rivenspire in DC are the "heavy vampire" areas, Bangkorai being where the vamp shrine is and the vamp quest. Eastmarch for EP I believe. Not sure about AD. A zone for DLC could be opened in any of those, possibly even centered around the original vamp and were quests where you return to the shrine and re-enter the quest zone to receive new quests.

    And yes, to give it a "something for everyone" appeal there would have to be expanded capabilities for non-supernaturals as well. Those quests could be via an NPC that shows up at all the taverns where the Undaunted hang out. I don't think it's necessary to bring in the Dawnguard (mostly because I'm not sure of their inception date but if they begin in the 2nd Era then it could easily be one of their early members who hangs out with the Undaunted looking for recruits into this new organization) as the "monster hunters" we already have in the game can serve the purpose admirably.

    This would necessarily be a pretty dense DLC because obviously only vamps could do the vamp stuff, weres the were stuff and normal mortals the hunter stuff. People would have to make choices. But also it would have a ton of replayability because you could do it on 3 different characters for 3 different experiences and benefits. Tho I have to admit I'd WANT to be able to do the Hunter stuff on my vamps and weres since from an RP standpoint they hunt other vamps and weres as well! LOL But I could certainly live with it if not.

    I think it would be really important that there be a "good" and "evil" path for the vamps and weres to take in the quests for them. So we can have those "noble monsters" who struggle to maintain their humanity and those who succumb to the dark side. That would ALSO give such a DLC a lot of replay value.

    As to a new zone...I'm not even sure there would need to be one. Just as Quen appears all over the map from TG and you get quests that take you out of Hew's Bane, a similar thing could be done here. Three different questlines would certainly be enough to flesh out such a DLC.
