I guess we'll have to make another 20 pages before we get another response.

An answer would seem to be just PR now anyhow. I see little chance of us getting meaningful and positive changes. We will only get what we want after it has been warped by whatever the developer vision happens to be at the time.

Essentially they are saying "oh but we buffed this passive therefore blocking must cost more to compensate!"...what was the point in buffing constitution if nothing changes in tanks favor? Might as well revert all of the changes at this point, but I doubt it will happen. I've spent time working some builds and here is my 'best' result so far; medium armor (tava's) regen build with 29~35k resistances. Spamming bone shield, only blocking mechanics. Yep, sounds like tanking to me!
At this point, the simplest solution is to make the Black Rose set Sturdy instead of Impenetrable on the Tel Var merchants.

Thanks to everyone for your feedback on the recent changes to Bracing. We wanted to free up Heavy Armor to be able to fulfill more roles, and not pigeonhole those who use Heavy Armor to just a tanking role. However, we also didn't want the net effect of the changes to Heavy Armor to affect tanks too much by offsetting the loss of Bracing with buffs to Constitution and Mending--passives that also help non-tanks manage their resources.
The overall goal here is not to make tanking more difficult. The numbers for constitution were balanced around being hit every second. You guys have identified situations where you're getting hit every half second and having trouble with the quick stamina depletion. We're going to be reworking some things to make tanking easier in these situations.
Overall, we want players to have fun playing a tank and have enough resources to activate abilities. You aren't being ignored, we just didn't want to rush out a change for this past PTS incremental.
i will be moving to medium armor tanking/dps spec, there is no reason to use heavy at all anymore, between the new sheilds, and the changes to cp, ha just became useless, tanks should be able to do ALOT more dmg now, but at what cost?
sure im jazzed to try to maximize dps on my tank, but really we shouldnt be shooting for that. we should be shooting for group buffs and group mitigation. im sure people will find a way to do all three, and i seriously doubt the cp trees will stay exactly as they are now.
you did not make ha and tanking more desirable for pve, you sharted on it.
