Suggestion to give purpose to fights in Cyrodil and IC and to offer small scale pvp in game.

If Zos wants to overall improve pvp and give all aspects a purpose i have a solution. Right now there isn't much purpose for the alliance war or IC. This is my fix.

1. Make IC gated in all campaigns. To enter IC you need to gain tokens earned in the alliance war and can have a max of 12. You earn one token for capturing all three resouces around a keep an 2 for each keep. The cost of entrance into IC is a base of 12 for one hour. for each keep your alliance holds the cost drops by one(IF you have all the base keeps for your alliance the cost is 6) and holding 12 keeps makes it free.

2. Capturing districts in IC lowers the cost of staying inside for each additional hour along with all other benefits.

3.The tel var vendors sell gold improvement mats, prismatic essence runes, new pvp gear sets and passes to enter into the next item on out list.....

4. Put in the 4v4v4 small scale arena used at the trade shows. This will be accessed by a pass bought with tel var stones and a player can have a maximum of 6 and they will be expensive.

You have now given purpose to fight in Cyrodil, In IC and have offered small scale pvp to those who want it bad enough.

    Ewww I don't like this, nope not one bit.

    If and when ZOS ever implements a system of actual PvP objectives in IC that contribute to the campaign, my group and I will be among those players who will play primarily in IC, letting the people up in Cyro do their thing.

    If access is gated, we will fight for access above ground, but we will promptly head back to IC once opened.

    That's our preference at least.

    A token system like this requires a certain amount of farming above ground in order to earn time in IC. :( noooo

    Edit: Oh, and I'm against arenas because they will be cookie cutter and artificial compared to organic open world encounters. I want an environment where small group PvP occurs naturally and unpredictably, not where it's forced within the walls of a separate instance.

    What i suggested is a rough draft. The whole purpose of this is to create a back and forth fight in both Cyrodil and IC. For anyone who played Dark Age of Camelot this will make sense. The Dungeon fought over was Darkness Falls. As one faction becomes dominant in Cyrodil players will start to trickle off and it will allow for a turn around on the map. The same will occur in IC. And the small scale Arena will appeal to some players and not to others. The whole purpose was to create constantly flowing battles.

    Let me get this straight . You wanna put a coin lock on the Imperial City gate like a pay toilet ? I didn't like that at Tacobell and I wouldn't like that there either . Talk about a immersion breaker ...

    Edit to add that came out wrong . I wasn't trying to sound mean I just really don't like the idea but appreciate the attempt at finding more reasons to visit IC in PvP . We just need something different , like I don't know , anything else . Maybe make holding IC along with all the main keeps the new way to get Emperor . I'm just throwing more bad ideas now ... Please just think of something else .
