    Maybe lower the radius.

This would be the wrong direction as it would make the heal useless to actual healers.

To OP. A big part of healing is getting to know ones heals and how they behave. After that point it becomes easier choosing which heal to use.

I'm talking strictly using this skill in pvp. I also use this skill as a healer in pve and would hate a change that would ruin it. It's just really sucks when it's one of ur main survival tools and when ur in a bind it goes to someone else.

And I had figured you were talking AvA. My thoughts apply regardless.

Mutagen may be a good choice. At least it hits 2 targets increasing the chance of you getting one.

DK has the only instant single target heal guaranteed to hit the caster everything else is a dice roll.

If I was in a zerg I wouldn't give a *** cause a dedicated healer would be keeping me alive.

I feel that the option to turn of sharing of skills and buffs is a really slippery slope. God forbid ZOS would take this into account. When I happen upon a fellow red getting wrecking blowed 7 foot into the air my first reaction is to hit my ward and perhaps drop an AOE heal on him. You see, it's for the betterment of the overall outcome of that conflict. With a system like this, should the player be flagged as 'solo' to save me wasting my spells? This could really hurt the support playstyle which I hugely enjoy.

And your enjoyment should trump the other player's ***deliberate decision*** to take on that challenge alone and set solo?

So much for his "i think this time i CAN finally take down this boss on my own" objective.

You did note this was for PVE right? Obviously you cant turn off other PC in PVP.

Surely the same thing applies. You know some people will wait at world bosses or delve bosses for help. I can only imagine the level frustration that would be caused when the only people coming by are solo players that can't recieve heals or buffs causing them both to wipe over and over. It for this reason that I could never see ZOS every implementing something like that.

    I dont get this.

To me there IS a diff btwn one player who to be happy has to have someone else and a player who to be happy wsnts to do his thing alone.

If you need someone else, talk and negotiate it.

I dont see zos going this route either. I would not say its a priority. But for me their smart healing by default to favor group content efficiency is not optimal.

But even for me, there are more important issues like making sure i can still spin my char on login and tick them off.

This thread just makes me wonder. If healing ward takes into consideration flat values or percentage when determining the lowest HP around...

    @Fallen_Ray
    Flat values.
I've been on both the casting and receiving end where a player with full health received a ward intended for a more tanky type who had a huge health pool but was at something like 80 or 85 percent.
And I've had glass cannon builds that have unintentionally "stolen" wards from damaged players while I was full health.

When i am out of group and dont have 100% hp it should always ward me 1st. They should change some things with this skill to 1st heal caster if he's not in group. Or create an option in settings to turn on that thing.

They need to make healing ward like this....

It will only heal an ally if the caster has 100% health, if not then the caster will be healed, problem solved.

I like healing ward as it is now, especially since BoL only heals 2 people and rapid regen/mutagen is completely random. The thing is, on my Sorc in PvP I cast healing ward when my HP is already dropping so it goes to me (unless my goal is actually to heal someone else). For the rest of the time I use harness magicka.

For my PvE healer, healing ward has completely replaced BoL as an "oh, crap!" heal. I only use that, healing springs and combat prayer most of the time. You do need to look at the health bars of your mates to know when to cast it though, unless you don't mind spamming it preventively.
