Pré nerf to 40%, It was giving me back 1450+ mana and stamina every 4 seconds. Quite nice.

Pretty much allows the use of 3 spell damage glyphs on jewelry then. Run 100 in spell cost reduction in champion tree?

You forgot that cost of everything was increased sugnificantly.

Right but running w 100 champion points in magician should help with that.

To summarize, I did some tests with a stamina build on my sorcerer in full heavy armor, and I was able to do long fights in pvp with only 1400 regen stamina thanks to the heavy armor changes + black rose set, without starving with ressources.

That means your getting the equivalent of 362 Health, Magic, and Stamina Regen....color me unimpressed.

The fact a Nightblade spamming Surprise Attack renders most of that armor your getting form Heavy Armor useless, i don't see it as a worthwhile trade off....not when they removed the 20% Block Cost reduction...that change in Constitution no way makes up for that.

Before the Bracing Change you had:

30% Block Reduction Cost from Fortress
20% Block Reduction Cost from Heavy Armor
8% Block Reduction Cost from Defensive Stance
25% Block Cost Reduction with 100 points in Block Expert

So you could get an 83% reduction to the cost of block before enchants...this was needed in order to make up for the lack of Stamina Regen while blocking.

Now you only get 13% from Sturdy(if i recall), and your forced to give up Reinforced, Nirn, and for PVP Impenetrable which makes you less tanky....

that change to Bracing is a huge nerf....sure Heavy Armor will be slightly better for DPS, but it will be far worse for tanking, and in PVP Nightblade Surprise attack spam with Sharpened Weapons will render most of your armor useless.

Zos already said that they were going to change heavy again due to the feedback about bracing

Not really. Assuming the 1450 regen from above (yes, I know it's a bit less now) you'd get the equivalent of 725 regen. Regeneration ticks every two seconds, not each second.

Honestly, if they remove the spell damage buff from heavy armor, there is no way in hell I'll switch from light armor to heavy armor on my mDK. No way lol heavy armor needs a complete re-work or you won't see anyone running it for pvp. Light armor combined with 2 sharpened swords is gonna give 10k+ spell penetration. No point for heavy armor in pvp if they switch bracing back to block cost reduction.

I personally think Black Rose was not toned down enough.... 25% is still really good considering how much they buffed constitution.

Nah, a 25% buff would be around the same benefit as a couple of standard 129 point set bonuses, one each for magicka and stamina regen. That's not even taking into account the multiplicative regen boosts from racial and CP passives. You would get more mileage from crafting the Willow's Path set in Heavy. The 40 or 50% buff is what makes the Black Rose set worth choosing over some other, more generally useful set.

I know that, i was saying per sec...362 x 2 = 724 so roughly around that ball park. Its still a huge nerf though, heavy armor is still useless as long as its so easy to spam Major Fracture in PVP.

Considering there is no cap on how high you can stack weapon/spell damage or max magic.stam but there is a cap on Armor and Spell Resist so with easy access to major breech/fracture which cuts your Armor/SR by 5000 + and sharpened weapons...the stack damage meta continues....Offense so far outweighs defense in this game its pretty absurd...just face roll DPS spam...any kind of defense is frowned upon.

I didnt manage to test it a lot in PVP so far so I wonder but in pve its insane. Mag DK
5rose/2Skoria/3willpower/2 seducer might go for 5 transmutation.
The spell power with the passive can go up to 3.2k w/o pots, you have good sustain and mitigation. Spamming deap breath and talon is enough to clear a whole sewer room in seconds with skoria proccing.
Anyone with more pvp experience with this set ?
(You can even go 5rose/2skoria/5VD ...)
