Stam Nb Post DB, Vamp or WW

I was originally planning to go ww, but after looking at the vamp buffs and noticing you don't need to slot a skill the 10% regen for magicka and stamina on both bars is looking pretty enticing

I likely only use devouring swarm for group play as i heard clouding is still very buggy. I may even just ignore bats and use dawnbreaker of smiting of back bar and incap front.

I know a transforming ww is very strong, but considering my ult's would usually cost 100 or 50 i doubt i'd have the patience to save to 325..

Plus theres going to be a lot of poison being thrown around next patch while the only real fire would be mag dk and shooting star. Also siege, but siege isn't too much of a problem on a nb.
PS4 EU DC

Current CP : 756+

I have every character level 50, both a magicka and stamina version.

RIP my effort to get 5x v16 characters...

I feel like vamp is going to be the most logic choice, unless you rely on your ww strength a lot. I'm excited as hell to be a vampire again on my nb tbh. It's going to be a slaughter house for my stamblade next patch >:)

DB patch is great for us vampires :)

There are a couple things still to worry about as a vampire player though:
    -Meteor
    -Dawnbreaker

However both of these can be easily mitigated with Mist Form. Now that the ability actually works i will probably use it more often. I may even have to get a little bit more magicka recovery/cost reduction for it. I don't need nb cloak when i got a working mist form.

Also the fact there is no stamina based damage morphs for vampire ability's may be a problem but it's not that big of a deal. Where is my Disease Devouring Swarm Zos? ;)

Meteor isn't too much of a problem, only dk's use shooting star everyone else uses ice comet.

Dawnbreaker only does 20% more dmg, most stam builds will use flawless as well for the extra dmg (not that it's the best choice xD)

I'm liking vamp more and more, but i really do want to go ww just because its cool :P

Might try vampire out, but don't think I will stay. Werewolf is really strong and I also like it because of RP reasons :)
I used to think that PvP was a tragedy, but now I realize, it's a comedy.

I'll be keeping my stam blade a vampire. IMO I'm not wasting ulti on WW with the incap changes.

I play a vampire stamina NB already. You just can't beat the full-speed stealth passive, especially when you add the resource regen. I always run at stage 4 vampirism, so to me the lack of HP regen and the damage mitigation cancel out.

As for bats...I go back and forth between bats and tether anyway. Tether's stun is really nice to have in a PVP crowd, but for some reason people tend to panic around bats.

And then there are the Camo Hunter changes. I typically use camo hunter now for the crit bonus and the extra occasional very high damage. (Think camo hunter + steel tornado in a large battle...yeah it's going to proc). Now it gives the Minor Berserk bonus, which basically means that I should choose between Camo Hunter and Relentless Focus because both give the same buff. Camo Hunter has a shorter duration but adds the crit bonus and 8% weapon damage (when you count the redesigned Slayer passive). Relentless Focus has a longer duration and adds stamina regen and Assassins Will if I remember to use it.

Plus one is stamina, the other magicka based. I tend to use my magicka for Double Take, so I'd be more likely to use Camo Hunter. I think. Or maybe not. Not to mention looking at Spiked Bone Shield as a new option. Lots to think about.

I like how you analyzed the new Camouflage Hunter compared to Relentless Focus.. but i think there are a couple things you forgot to mention. Relentless Focus win's my pick between the two imo.

On my stamblade i'm pretty magicka dependent. Cloak, Fear, Double Take, Relentless Focus, sometimes summon image or piercing mark. All these skills cost magicka however this means i'm not using much stamina which is a good thing. Stamina resource is stopped so often that i feel being so magicka heavy is not a bad thing.

Camo cost stamina. If you use shuffle and rally with this in stealth your going to have a stamina pool that already has taken a big hit.

When i think about camouflage hunter compared to relentless focus i find its just a pain in the butt to maintain. I would use Radiant Mage Light for the reveal and relentless focus for the damage/stam boost. I feel camo hunter has become pointless for stamina nb's. Overall i think it's just better to use Relentless Focus considering the assassins will is now disease damage.

There is definitely a lot to think about.

I agree, it's a matter of magicka vs stamina. Double Take vs Shuffle...I use Double Take largely because it's magicka, because both have useful secondary attributes. I don't use Rally because I'm Bow/DW, but I do use Power Extraction which is magicka based, for that same damage buff (but no self-heal).

The same applies to Camo vs Relentless. It's all a matter of resources. With my current setup I tend to run out of both magicka and stamina at about the same time, which I think is ideal. But somebody with high stamina recovery might go one way, and somebody with a bit more magicka recovery might go the other.

And I agree 100% that I wish I didn't have to maintain these actives. I guess the crit buff is like the magelight passive, but an 8 second buff for damage is pretty short compared to Relentless Focus or Rally. It might make more sense to use Relentless Focus just because it lasts more than twice as long as Camo Hunter.

And, final straw. Just re-reading the patch notes I see that Camo Hunter gives its Minor Berserk buff "after dealing a Critical Hit from crouch." Well, hell. How situational is THAT??? It went from being a bonus that you get sometimes over 15 seconds to one that you will got around 50% of the time ONCE from stealth. Bleh, that'll come off my bar.

Thanks for the response -- made me take a second look and realize how badly nerfed Camo Hunter is.

I'm also considering going vampire, I'm not sure though. Currently WW, but I 've no use of it and no ability on my quickbar.
