    Thanks for your Great effort, I was very curious about this Set, and confused because The dealt extra Dmg was High like The tooltips "Weapon Damage", pretty Strange tooltip ^^

    Anyway, this confirms The Set isnt really useful to me, I hoped for a execute replacer of some sort.

    They shouldve instead just done a flat 2500 physical Damage on light/Heavy Attack bonus, or a 450 Weapondamage Bonus on targets below 20%, but on all Weapon Attacks(Abilities+Light/heavy Attacks)

    @ZOS_GinaBruno Why are old pvp sets such as morag tong and hawks eye being completely removed from the game? a lot of the old set were much more interesting/useful in comparison to the new pvp sets that came out with thieves guild, yet they have been stuck at v14 forever and are now unobtainable. When i read the patch notes it sounded like you were scaling them, then i checked for my self and saw they were gone. this is very disappointing since the only way to currently make a bow build perform well is to use morag tong and/or hawks eye and with those being removed bow will have even less of a presence as a primary weapon. please consider reintroducing the old pvp sets back into the vendors before the full release of the Dark Brotherhood dlc.

    Despite my early misgivings, the Dreugh King Slayer COULD be a better set than it first appears. The built-in Major Brutality buff could save you a slot on your off bar, a slot that could be used for something useful that you had to sacrifice before.

    I really need to know, however, if it comes with a full set of jewelry. If you could use this with Pelinal's, you would be getting Major Brutality AND Major Sorcery at the same time, in effect.

    Originally this set came in only five peices. Chest, Legs, Shoulders, Amulet, and 2H Sword.

    When it was updated to V14, they added all the other armor pieces and the Amulet and Sword were updated too but very rare.

    Without rings and without the sword, you could use this with a crafted set but only with the Amulet and two weapons (duel wield or S&B). You would also LOSE any 5pc bonuses from either light or medium armor as you would be forced to wear 3 heavy pieces. So any PvE applications wouldn't be min-maxed with either the Medium Agility Passive or light armors spell penetration.


    Adding rings or more weapons would really help. This is a great set but if its just armor pieces I will be looking elsewhere.

    • Do you have any feedback on the new Runebox available from the Tel Var Stone vendor in Imperial City?

    Currently the very low drop rate of the Soul Shriven skin, in addition to the lack of groups consistently going and clearing the center event in the Imperial City, has made the skin nearly impossible to get. You guys have taken a good first step by adding in boxes that are guaranteed to drop the Xivkyn polymorph of your choice (250k stones), so hopefully you consider making this change and get the skin into the hands of more than a few people who got lucky with drops.

    On a semi-related note, please, for the love of [insert deity here], don't nerf the PVE portion of the Imperial City, or reduce the amount of stones earned from player kills. It's not the Imperial City if it's not a high-risk, high-reward, close-quarters area where small groups can turn the tide against large groups with a little help from sweeper bosses/mobs.

    Why did you nerf Skirmisher bite in todays patch?, it was perfectly fine and reducing the duration from 8s to 5s was a bad move imo. Please revert this change and let it have 8seconds duration or at the very least 6 seconds.

    It's kind of useless in my opinion, since Major Brutality is such an easy buff to put on yourself with skills. I would love to see a 5-piece bonus that increased attack speed or something.

    @Ishammael Yeah I was looking at this set mixed with the new crafted Pelinal's set only because I think it's harder for a magicka build to keep their major buff up constantly. Is that what you are hinting towards?

    Since we got new buff Lifesteal, can't we get Lord Warden monster set to proc Orb that will apply Major Lifesteal buff inside orb radius for set user instead of useless armor buff for everyone? Just to make this set viable.

    I don't know which thread to post this exactly but since this thread is about items I want to emphasise on the trophy collectables that drop from enemies and when they will be addressed.

    Grinding over 2000+ mobs to get a drop is unacceptable. Give them a drop rate not RNG rate.

    Add mobs to areas that will help every faction at veteran rank to be able to aquire said trophies. An example would be nixhounds and khagouti's. The few in craglorn and the nixhounds in dragonstar arena does not cut it. There are other types of mobs that need to have a increased availability in the game but right now this is all I can remember.

    You should seriously trop making this game a grind fest. We are humans. Our time is limited. Let us stop wasting that precious time in such an awesome game such as this to mindlessly grind things.

    A few questions:
    -Is the scamp and soul-shriven skin included with the runeboxes?
    If not, can they be added?
    -How much do runeboxes cost?
    If alot, can they be reduced to something reasonable like 3 to 5k to prevent turning Imperial City to a grind-fest.

    How is it that people are testing the Pelinal's Aptitude set? The ones I opened from template boxes all say they are disabled currently. Was it ninja-activated and nothing was updated?

    Pelinals Aptitude was reactivated this patch. The notification on the set however was not.

    I tested it quite a bit in 1v1s yesterday (with a WW focus), and its definetly usefull for healing as WW, however it still falls short in enabeling a hybrid playstyle. Its simply not feasible to reach reasonable offensive and sustain stats to make it compete with actual focused builds.

    Vicecanon has the same issue with the poison DoT, so maybe it's something related to poison damage still calculated on sets like it was some patches ago.

    @Alcast check also critical dmg and chances, on Vicecanon also those are used instead of weapon ones.

    @ZOS_AlexTardif will these two sets be fixed for DB release as well?

    @ZOS_GinaBruno , The new traits introductions are going to make gear a total nightmare if things aren't done carefully.

    People already have a hard enough time getting a precise maelstrom destro when the pool is only 3 traits. Adding more traits to the pool wont actually affect build diversity that much because people will still tend to gravitate to what is the best, but diluting drops will cause more aggravation by everyone.

    My solution is short and simple.

    Trait changes.

    Diablo 3 has them, ESOTU should too!

    I hope they could introduce the old ring back from SO, will be nice to get more 3 pièces set into the game, maybe even add some 4 pièces (weapon/jewellery set) or some new type of three pièces (chest/legs/helmet).

    Also Maestrom Arena weapon could be one piece set, and 2 pièces set for DW.

    Like 1 pièces add 189 Weapon dommage / then enchant or even make them really strong like 1 pièces add 189 Weapon domage and weapon skill line ability bonus and then you can also enchant them.

    Would help in situation like you have a 2h and you'r not using crit rush but still don't want to use poison all the time because of the obvious cost of it.

    Also, I'm Kind of scare about the cost of trial night nowaday. I don't mind to enchant my weapon with poison (like a 5 minutes enchant for weapon that makes them proc poison, instead of the buff they usually gives) but I don't wanna use poison all the time as raid already costing around 5k each night in potion and stuff... maybe adding 3 more k isn't the way to go !

    (maybe the cost of a raid is a bit lower, I can think of 3k potion/repair/gems maybe more but around that, so probably 5k after DB probably more since raid are going to required more of those potion).

    Question about this set:

    Can you proc this ability on mulitple targets? Does the HoT stack if used on multiple targets? Since the set has been confirmed to proc after a nightblade's shadow cloak, it should be theoretically possible to hit two people from cloak within this time. Would an AoE ability form shadow cloak or stealth proc this on everyone?

    Good day I would like to ask for 2 sets to be looked at. Can nightmare be made to be a Stam and magick heavy set. As it is now it is only for Stam but it is such a unique 5 piece that would combo well with 3 of the magicka classes.

    Also can necropotence be upgraded to vr16 and given a better trait like infused and divines. Sturdy is really very bad for a light armor set such as that.

    Kvatch Gladiator crafted set four puce bonus needs to be weapon and spell power.

    Would also be a very interesting set if the two and three piece bonuses gave weapon crit and spell crit.

    1. Damage is really low, it can be increased by 20-30% or reduced the duration to 10-12 seconds
    2. The leeching poison works just against one target at time, I presume this is intended; if you make the set working on multiple targets at the same time, then it should be probably tuned down otherwise it should be buffed as written above EDIT: The leeching poison is working on multiple targets when using single target attacks and skills, while when using AoE skills it works just on one target: is this intended?

    3. Being a PvP set, Battle Spirit should not reduce by 50% the leeching poison otherwise the leeching poison should be increased as explained above; considering its damage is low in general, also in PvE, this set is not appealing as it could seem at first sight, especially PvP wise

    Vicecanon of venom: update for build 2.4.3 PTS

    Bugs:
    1. Solved: as written in 2.4.3 patch notes and tested
    2. Solved: even if not reported in patch notes, this bug is fixed; Deadly Venom and healing scale now correctly off weapon crit and armor penetration
    3. NEW: some AoE skills apply the Deadly Venom, some other no (Steel Tornado, Soul Tether, Meteor); Clouding Swarm applies the Deadly Venom on every target as damage, the healing appears to be just from one target (bug or not, considering Clouding Swarm grants invisibility, is this intended as only exception?)

    Other info:
    1. Confirmed (Deadly Venom can be applied also from invisibility; it should be intended)
    2. Confirmed

    4. NEW: it now works just from critical hits and not all attacks.

    Feedback:
    1. UPDATE: not the best damage considering how it is applied and how it works from sneak - invisibility and on just one target

    3. I still have to test it in PvP; if it is like in previous PTS builds the damage is quite low. To check if Battle Spirit reduces twice damage and healing or it works like Scourge Harvester set.
      EDIT: Battle Spirit reduces just the damage and not the healing, so gladly it's like the Scourge Harvester set.
      The really long duration is interesting but the damage is a bit low, considering its really limited use (NB with Cloak, potions or Shadowstrike on a block build), 10-20% more wouldn't be a game changer but surely better.

    I'm wondering this as well, as I don't have the PTS to test it. I assume it works in both the sewers and city districts, not just the districts?

    Also, do we know whether or not this set will have jewelry?

    So many cool possibilities with this set, with a true risk vs reward element.

    5 items Marksman's Crest Reduce the stamina cost of abilities by 5% and increase damage of your bow abilities against players by 8%

    Can we just remove against players and have it be a flat damage output of 8% to all enemies in the game. This set would wanted even more than it already is and be more viable for PvE.

    This was suggested multiple times at a PVE guild summit with the Devs but they wanted to keep the PVE and PVP sets separate for TG.

      Varen's Legacy - This set is interesting. Apparently the 5 piece bonus can be used for Duration aoe attacks or direct damage which is neat. I could have hurricane ramping up while proccing extra 3k damage hits. The damage only buffs one instance of damage however. The whole point of AOEs are to hit multiple targets so why is the damage bonus locked to one target?

      The proc rate itself is abysmal. The set doesn't really start proccing until 4+ targets are hitting you. DOTs also don't seem to proc the set bonus. Low proc rate, that requires direct damage attacks, and blocking plays out terribly. Interaction with blocking trigger sets feels bad in general. Varen's Legacy reminds me of the Twin sister set. It has a great bleed, but locks you into blocking on a 20% proc chance to access it. It's just not fun or functional.

      A bigger damage blast, with a 100% chance on block, and a functional cooldown (3-5 seconds) would feel a lot better. Power bash feels much better the way it was designed to buff on blocking. I think block trigger sets could benefit from following suit.

      Just wondering if anyone on the item team has seen this feedback, as I too was excited to try the Varen'sLegacy Set but barely got it to proc and found it seems to only affect one target with the higher damage in AOE attacks. At only a 10% proc rate with the requisite condition of after blocking, it seems to weak for being a 7-trait set.

      I'd chime in with ExiledTyrant and add that I think the % proc rate needs to be done away with entirely (and just activate after block like the revised Power Slam). I'd also say the added damage should apply to all 6 targets affected by an AOE. To keep this from being unbalanced you could establish a 4-second cooldown.
