Solo Players getting Emperor 「Now Harder IMO」

    Unless your part of a guild, and they're pushing emp for you...ur not going to get it. Simple as that.

    The big guilds control who gets emp, and who doesn't. If they don't want you to get emp, they'll use tactics to make sure you don't. and there is nothing you can do about it. So if you want emp. Get into the big guild, socialize, make yourself a name, lead groups, and get in line for emp.

    Most people who correctly AP farm are usually the best players. A better player who gets emp will do more for his Alliance than the 24 man group leader (assuming the leader is mediocre).

    What you suggested encourages more 24 mans which is not what we need in this game at the moment.

    A semi smart emperor will defend his emp keeps which helps the alliance. Unless you think helping your Alliance as emperor is pushing the opposing alliances to their gates.

    This of course begs the question of how to measure how one contributes to their alliance's war effort. How would you value someone pvdooring dragonclaw compared to someone taking a defended objective when outnumbered? Or zerging a keep at 1:5 odds? The current system certainly isn't ideal in certain respects, but it honestly isn't as bad as some people make it out to be. Most people view a lot of good guilds as nothing but AP farmers but their impact on the map is more significant than most people would like to admit.

    I personally don't understand why this guy didn't get more Agrees and Awesomes. This is the most idealistic and genius concept I've read in these forums since day 1.

    My point is that every system will have its issues. In the system outlined in the post I would just hope that my alliance controls our megaserver's main pvp campaign in off-hours so that I can farm pugs with emp while allowing the other factions to control the bare minimum amount of territory necessary to keep their moral at a sustainable level at prime time. This way I would benefit from a good score multiplier when I was earning medals for heals and kills . That's even assuming that ZOS doesn't assign too high of a value to something like the proposed siege damage medal and turn the ap farming for emp into firing four trebs at at random wall on a completely undefended scroll keep all day as opposed to killing massive amounts of players and at least indirectly contributing to the campaign.

    The system seems great at face value, but once you consider that your idea--while perfect in theory--will be exploited in its own way while simultaneously suffering from sub-optimal implementation, the idea of diverting resources from the creation of new content such as or battleground to address a problem by replacing it with a new one becomes far less appealing (to me at least).

    I'm not sure if I understand some of the people in this thread, but, you're saying a solo player killing the enemy, therefore preventing these enemies from reinforcing the main blob/attacking keeps, somehow does not help the war efforts? Kindly explain?
