The healing is based upon damage inflicted. This means that whatever damage you dealt with Strife, you will heal 25% of that damage every 2 seconds.
It does take all damage that Strife deals into consideration. The thing is... Strife's damage scales off Magicka and Spell Damage in the regular 10.46:1 ratio.
You misunderstand me. If you deal 10k damage with Strife, you heal 2.5k every 2 seconds. If you deal 100 damage with Strife and you land Wrecking Blows dealing 15k damage, you heal 25 damage every 2 seconds. If you deal 10k damage with Strife, and 4k*3 with Force Shock, you heal 2.5k every 2 second. Only the damage from Strife is factored in. It is useless for a stamina build.
Key phrase here is damage inflicted. It is not damage you inflict.

Excellent. One last question. Does spamming strife stack heals or does every cast of strife "reset" the heals?
Example: If I spam strife 3 times in quick succession and hit for 400 damage each time, then am I getting 3 heals of 100 about every 2 seconds, or would each cast of strife simply reset the 10 second timer of a 100 heal that occurs every 2 seconds?
