I still hope the developers will continue to focus on new trials rather than feeding us with slightly revamped old stuff for the 3rd time already

On the other hand tho, I couldnt really digest a new trial yet. Still way too busy with vMoL.
I would love to see vDSA revamped or a new arena

@ZOS_Finn Another thing to mention - on vet mode, while in the lobby, you can't get out the door into Craglorn. Door worked fine in normal mode.

Yep! We saw that too after it went to PTS. It should be fixed in the next patch.OrphanHelgen wrote: »how is the loot difference from normal to vet and how does the drop rate works?
You should get a set piece 100% of the time when killing a boss. In normal, you will get a BoE revamp of the old sets 80% of the time and a BoP Trial set 20% of the time. In Veteran, you will get a BoP 80% of the time and a BoE 20% of the time.
There is no timer involved. Also, the Bannerman and Troll monsters have a chance to drop one of the pieces of the sets as well (in this case, feet).

I feel like Vet mode should be more profitable than normal mode in terms of gold made. You should add a chance to get a boe and a bop in vet mode that way people doing vet aren't making less gold from selling the boe gear. At the very least make the last 2 bosses of Vet Maw and Vet SO have a chance to drop a boe and a bop.
For example, I spent an enormous amount of time on Vet Maw and finally completed it, but I have only done normal 2 or 3 times. I have gotten very few boe pieces to sell from vet, which means that it costs me gold to do vet maw. If I were doing normal I would be getting more stuff to sell.

Running end-game Trial content has no way of being profitable for sure. Let's take PvP for example where if you farm enough AP you can sell things that always earn you gold, time spent equals money earned. In Trials we just do not have this and instead it costs us money to run the best content in the game, slightly unfair.
My suggestion is something like Akaviri in PvP, why not with every Trial that releases make a motif to go with it?
For example, make it so the Dro-M'Athra motif can be obtained by running the Veteran Maw of Lorkhaj, maybe a token system where we can exchange said tokens for motif chapters (or the whole book) and this can only be obtained by running the Veteran version of the trial at CP160 scale. In Sanctum Ophidia we could have the Yokudan motif drop instead. This would provide guaranteed income for end-game Trial guild and also give us something exclusive where if we don't want to sell it, only the best can earn it.
Make raiding more profitable please @ZOS_Finn.
I don't think trials should be a way to make gold. You should do trials for the challenge and the fun of it. We already have some BoE gear drops (which is nice) but in no case should Trial gear be BoE. To get Trial gear you have to run a Trial (weekly or otherwise) and I think that is fair. I wouldn't be mad if there were BoP PvP gear so that you actually had to PvP to get them - and I have bought several so called PvP sets in the past because I don't really PvP and they happened to be best for PvE at the time, but if I had to go earn that gear I would've done that too. I bought it because that was faster/easier than going to go get it myself.
IF ZoS wants to increase the gold players make (or even out the cost of repairs/potions/food/soul gems/etc that players use in trials) is to add more gold per player/boss kill or chance at high gold value trash you can vendor, but only off boss or boss-type mobs to prevent people from just going in to farm gold all day. Maybe they could increase the weekly reward as a means to give you profit? Gold is pretty easy to get in the game already and there aren't that many gold sinks so....they cannot and should not give a player too much extra reward on top of the BoP trial gear and BoE set gear they already get.

To buy BoE gear, you also have to play the game, ie earn gold via trading / killing stuff or trading with a buddy / guildie... just like having to run Trials or PvP.. it's just a different activity, but it's still playing the game.
I hate BoP, worst thing to ever be added to MMOs.. the only good thing about it is that it f'cks up sweat shops selling gold / gear.

There's a wee difference between grinding IC Sewers or running around picking flowers (or even purchasing gold online, so much for "playing the game") - and doing something actually difficult & challenging.
If you can't beat certain content, then you don't deserve the rewards associated with it. End of story.
I only wish the BoP rewards were more worth running for to match the content difficulty.
Only change to BoP I'd like to see is a group loot system or some kind of possibility to distribute the loot between group members.

The point of the game is to have fun...

We agree here.
Guess what's fun? Doing something special that others can't do & being rewarded for it.
Guess what's not fun: doing something special that others can't do & then not being rewarded for it any more than the average Joe who collected 500 000 flowers, which is something everyone can do regardless of their skill level.
Yes, "e-peen"... call it what you want - it's what makes MMOs gaming interesting to many people.

Sure man, are you going to pay for those +-20k pots you blow on a raid night?
