They're just bits of clothes that you can get in containers, etc.
(I wish comments werent removed because they are "non-constructive".Some people just have something they want to say.It might not be constructive, but it might not be bad either.)

They are good for hanging around town. Plus, you can dye them. And there's a kilt.

The worst part is you click on these threads expecting to see Zenimax said something interesting...and all you find are they themselves posting unconstructive comments. I'd rather not even see the Zenimax tag on the thread to be honest.

Since they act as costumes later, I wish they could be moved into the costume slot. It could be a reward for managing to hold on to the disguise. I do wish costumes and disguises could be dyed though. Too many people running around in identical clothing reverts us back to the beginning when all the armor was green. I do like that real clothing, while not a costume and so only useful for safe areas, can be dyed. I think more people would wear it if there were nicer pieces to be found. Sometimes I put on town clothes or mage robes and just walk around. It's always easy to know the NPCs, they don't run everywhere.

Also, the disguises shouldn't disappear when in general combat - only in combat with the baddies that you were supposed to be disguised as. From what I understand, that can continue even after you complete the quest, but it shouldn't poof when fighting unrelated mobs.
Moving disguises into costumes at the end of the quest? Yeah, that's been mentioned before. They said it's something they will look into. The UI icons for those disguises are actually already in place in the "costumes" part of the data files, so I assume it will be happening Soon™.Asherons_Call wrote: »This is an awesome idea so you get an awesome. ZOS_GinaBruno just to get it on your radar but I'm sure it's probably been mentioned before.
