@ZoS..What is the point of the Evil Hunter change?

It cost slightly less then 3k stamina....(around 2950ish)......and lasts for 5 or 6 seconds....

to reduce the cost of Fighters Guild abilities by 28%...

So....what is the point of this ability? Ignoring the completely narrow use of it....You basically have to use a Fighters Guild ability like 3-5 times just to make up for the cost of originally using Evil Hunter.

And when I say make up the cost..I mean just breaking even.....I can't think of any situation where Camo Hunter isn't the better ability.

Maybe to get Turn Undead to cost less than 5K max stam. Used to be such a good skill to get bats off of you.

Even Camo Hunter sucks now as you won't be getting stealth hits regularly enough in combat to keep its buff up.

Unless they changed it in 2.4.1, you don’t need to be in stealth, just crouch and critically hit to obtain berserker. This means that in PvE you’ll get a constant berserk buff, which is nice, but will make stamina players behave like silly crouching cats in combat. This one tested it on mamoths in Wro and was able to keep the buff constantly on.

But indeed, the second morph to reduce stamina cost by 25% of all FG skills is useless and silly.

Trying to copy the same function of inner light basically.

While slotted get crit, activate it to reveal hidden enemies + passives bonuses.

One way to make second morph of evil hunter viable is to semi-revert this morph to have % of chance to recover some stamina back. But this one is not sure whether that would or not be a bit OP. But on the other hand camuflage hunter is a bit OP.

It is OP. I dont think buffing damage by 8% at all times was intended.

Simply through a passive or through the skill something else always active should be added to the skills, especially considering Inner Light and Radiant Magelight.

Inner Light:
- active reveal effect (same)
- Major Prophecy (same crit major buff)
- 5% Magicka

- increased duration (Everlasting magic)
- reduced magicka cost (Mage Adept)
- Empower (after cast)
- 2% Magicka + 2% Magicka Recovery (Magicka Controller)

Radiant Magelight:
- active reveal effect (same)
- Major Prophecy (same crit major buff)
- reveal effect radius increased
- reduced magicka cost
- defense from stealth attacks (anti stun + 50% less damage)

- increased duration (Everlasting magic)
- reduced magicka cost (Mage Adept)
- Empower (after cast)
- 2% Magicka + 2% Magicka Recovery (Magicka Controller)

Camouflaged Hunter:
- active reveal effect (same)
- Major Savagery (same crit major buff)
- Minor Berserk for 8 seconds attacking from crouch upon cast (atm bugged and always active)

- 3% weapon damage (Slayer)
- reduced stamina cost (Intimidating Presence)

Evil Hunter:
- active reveal effect (same)
- Major Savagery (same crit major buff)
- 28% reduced FG skills while casted (5 seconds)

- 3% weapon damage (Slayer)
- reduced stamina cost (Intimidating Presence)

As you can see the difference amongst them is quite big and Camouflaged and Evil Hunter should gain something else.
Considering the TTK by sneak attacks in PvP, I would avoid to give Camouflaged Hunter a sneak attack bonus.
Maybe a cost reduction for stealth or an increased movement speed in stealth could be an idea.
Evil Hunter instead could keep a proc to restore some stamina or restore some stamina upon critical hits.

Another way to improve them is giving X% max stamina or X% stamina recovery to the skills or through a FG passive.
Bounty Hunter could be an option as passive to grant it.
Last but not least, there is Empower that could be added.

Man...between the destruction of camo hunter, the removal of the 60% bonus damage to undead with Dawnbreaker, and the removal of extra bonus damage against undead passive, is there any reason to NOT go vamp? Yeah 25% extra fire damage...ok i wasnt too worried about mag dks anyway lel.

Like I'm not getting the change here...Camo Hunter could at least be used...but evil hunter has like no use....the 28% cost reduction if passive might be used for a Silver Shards build...but as of right now it has zero use.

Maybe because it's used mostly with dual wield and focused aim to get doubleprock one shots on Live and before? Maybe.

Not to mention as a stealth player, magelight can be used on the move without any hit on the stam resource pool since magicka regen's in stealth.

Mage Light also has a much bigger range of detection and the reduce stealth damage perk.

I like that camo hunter was changed but i dont like how they changed it. It could have easily been changed to perform like the old radiant mage light. Which in my opinion would make it worth using.

Evil hunter used to be pretty useful in PvE. Really helps with sustain in aoe pulls when you are spamming steel nado as a 5k weapon damage build with minimal stam regen. It let you keep going for 10 or so seconds longer before needing to pop a pot etc. The new version is kinda wonky.... Only use would be an SS spamming build... Even then... Not nearly as useful as the old evil/camo hunter.

Just make the 28% reduction passive instead of active. Might make it better to combo with trap beast.
