Power Bash and the fact that it does not CC

So like I said, the stun wasn't the issue. It was the disorient that was causing public issues with the ability and forced it's change for DB.

    Ah, I see. I never noticed it with the disorient as the disorient happens 2 seconds after the stun. I can see how it can cause issues as these are 2 different CC effects being applied to one. Like I said tho, I'm all for the disorient being removed, just keep the stun :/

    Anyway, I'm still confused as to why you're saying that the skill is bugged on live. Played for a solid month after TG patch released and not once did I have a problem with it. Before TG I hated the ability with a passion because how cheese it was. Now? Never once complained about it since they actually fixed it.

    Stam builds need more options for stamina-based CCs. More magicka-based CCs = less use of CCs = no stam issues = infinite resource pools = everlasting fights = "Hey, good fight but this is lasting forever." If you THINK the disorient is still the problem, then you should be advocating to remove JUST the disorient and not the CC altogether. Don't dare say use Invasion as a CC. As if we're going to step backwards every time we want to CC someone. This is NOT practical whatsoever.

    not sure about pvp usage as i do not pvp on my tank. but for short term mob control PB is great, now that the short cc is being removed i am not sure it is worth it anymore. i think zos needs to reconsider this one. perhaps keep the pve stun.

    Ah so it's good in PvE as well.

    I found this skill extremely good in PvP as a S&B user does NOT have good burst unless you invest highly into damage, sacrificing a lot of sustain which is crucial to S&B. So anyways, the heal debuff from Reverb would be incredibly good for wearing targets down.

    The other reason why it's extremely good is because you could use it to keep CC and pressure on someone every 6 seconds. And if YOU'RE under pressure you use the CC to relieve that pressure and get the enemy off you.

    Power Bash needs more damage. Slightly higher damage than puncture, twice the stamina cost, no CC. If its going to be a pure damage morph then add more damage to it or cut the stamina cost by 50% when the effect procs. Spamming puncture does more damage even with the 25% damage proc.

    I didn't say it was bugged on Live. I just said that Disorient was the issue with the ability, simply that nothing more. I know it was fixed of the cheesy Stun-spam, but still people argue it was only "sorta" fixed. I am guessing that is why both CCs were removed.

    ZoS seems to be on a crusade against sword and shield to be honest. Block price increased, bracing removed from HA, PB not having a stun anymore. :'(

    The whole point of this ability for arguably all users was the fact that it applied major defile and a cc, while we appreciate your effort to rework this ability, I think many people relied on this as a stamina cc. Draining shot and dizzying swing are useful, but unlike magicka class-based ccs, these have to be slotted on the bar with the correlating weapon. This removal of a popular snb cc limits the usefulness of the skill line, which is why many people here suggest returning some element of the cc back to the ability.

    no is not fixed, they only fixed the problem were it was hitting tought dodge roll and stuff like that. The CC is still bugged, already told you, get hit with shield charge and with reverb, and then tell me the stun is the same. For some reason is the hardest CC to break (well, besides the random unbreakble fear), i can burst people 3 times more easier with reverb than with any other CC in the game, something is wrong.
    If you are going to ask for something, at least be honest when you talk about it, you know better than me that reverb is not "fixed".

    Just the opposite. I love this ability, the way it is working now. I just enjoy the occasional troll as well. But ZOS does have a tendency to "force feed" us fixes that weren't needed because (it feels like) they know what we want more than we know. There's no way PvErs are complaining about this, and the PvPers who are/were, either don't know how to use it, or can't beat it.

    Have you tested it? Because I have. If you're referring to the slide that part is fixed. If you're talking about the double cc portion, that is also fixed. Please extensively test things before going off random assumptions.

    Have you tested it? Because I have. If you're referring to the slide that part is fixed. If you're talking about the double cc portion, that is also fixed. Please extensively test things before going off random assumptions.

    My mistake, I didn't word it the way i wanted, so to speak. I meant in his point of view (which he saw the skill as broken because of the disorient) that if the disorient was removed (which im 100% fine with) then it would fix issues that HE thinks exist. Wether they do or not. Hope this clarifies

    I think he means that there are no sliding issues/the ability doesn't even cc anymore, and should they return the cc, they shouldn't include the disorient to avoid any issues returning to the ability
