When did my knowledge come from someone on stream? Lmao, I tested this damn skill myself, the person I was responding to brought up Sypher and I used him as a reference because of it. And I'd be completely fine if it just CC'd and not stunned and disorientated someone, but I honestly don't see how that is an issue.I never had it on my bar, tbh.
It's because Disorient works on targets with CC immunity, and that person can not break the disorient themselves. Only once they are damaged does the disorient break (except Rune Prison). Disorient allowed you to basically "psuedo-stun" players and non-boss NPC for like 20+ seconds as long as you don't damage them. This is why people used it even before some discovered and abused a bug with it in PvP.
What the TG patch did was it fixed the bug where CC-Immunity wasn't triggering because you were constantly getting Disoriented before getting a chance to gain CC-Immunity from breaking the Stun. Even though the damage from Reverberating Bash would disable the Disorient, it would immediately be reapplied each time it was used on you. This is what people abused and it was what they fixed. After TG, you were always stunned on the first application and not repetitively thus you could Break Free immediately.
What they didn't change was the Disorient, it would still hit you even while having CC-Immunity. This is also what led to people disagreeing whether Bash was actually fixed. If someone hit you with it, there would still be that time before you were damaged that you felt stunned although you could Break Free. Similar to how Lotus Fan kinda feels. So like I said, the stun wasn't the issue. It was the disorient that was causing public issues with the ability and forced it's change for DB.

Real quick... Why did you create this quote when it wasn't him that said it?I never had it on my bar, tbh.
Anyway, I'm still confused as to why you're saying that the skill is bugged on live. Played for a solid month after TG patch released and not once did I have a problem with it. Before TG I hated the ability with a passion because how cheese it was. Now? Never once complained about it since they actually fixed it.
Stam builds need more options for stamina-based CCs. More magicka-based CCs = less use of CCs = no stam issues = infinite resource pools = everlasting fights = "Hey, good fight but this is lasting forever." If you THINK the disorient is still the problem, then you should be advocating to remove JUST the disorient and not the CC altogether. Don't dare say use Invasion as a CC. As if we're going to step backwards every time we want to CC someone. This is NOT practical whatsoever.

ZOS isn't going to listen to you. It's like a child who had a "good" idea. They don't want you poking holes in their theory about how to fix something that isn't broken. Just tell them that duct tape, super glue, and a paper clip will make it all better and shut your face hole.
Be happy they even allow you to play this game at all.
Ingrates.
I hope they develop every single game you will ever want to play.
That'll teach you.

I NEED a lol or "haha" button like this ability needs to keep its CC

The whole point of this ability for arguably all users was the fact that it applied major defile and and cc, while we appreciate your effort to rework this ability, I think many people relied on this as a stamina cc. Draining shot and dizzying swing are useful, but unlike magicka class-based ccs, these have to be slotted on the bar with the correlating weapon. This removal of a popular snb cc limits the usefulness of the skill line, which is why many people here suggest returning some element of the cc back to the ability.
They did fix it tho... for like the 100th time. It's fixed. Please go test it in TG right now.

no is not fixed, they only fixed the problem were it was hitting tought dodge roll and stuff like that. The CC is still bugged, already told you, get hit with shield charge and with reverb, and then tell me the stun is the same. For some reason is the hardest CC to break (well, besides the random unbreakble fear), i can burst people 3 times more easier with reverb than with any other CC in the game, something is wrong.
If you are going to ask for something, at least be honest when you talk about it, you know better than me that reverb is not "fixed".

Just the opposite. I love this ability, the way it is working now. I just enjoy the occasional troll as well. But ZOS does have a tendency to "force feed" us fixes that weren't needed because (it feels like) they know what we want more than we know. There's no way PvErs are complaining about this, and the PvPers who are/were, either don't know how to use it, or can't beat it.

Have you tested it? Because I have. If you're referring to the slide that part is fixed. If you're talking about the double cc portion, that is also fixed. Please extensively test things before going off random assumptions.

Ya it does seem a bit funky at times. But honestly, they could just change the CC and remove the disorient and keep the stun. I feel like this would solve so much issues.
