This rant is regarding the lag in PvE. I mean it's beyond ridiculous with how horrible it is, I can't play trials, group dungeons, or even vMSA without dying so much (team-mates included) that it just pisses you off.
Example #1. Two days ago (during the ICP pledge) someone wanted a PuG for Hel ra Citadel (One of the easiest if not thee easiest trial in the game as of now). People were getting wiped but not because they were bad but because you'd hear the healer saying "OMFG I'm trying to spam heals but my character won't do it!" or the tank saying "I can't switch to my SnB to re-taunt wtf is going on" even the DPS saying "WTF I can't use my skills fast enough because my character is moving so slow". I mean that's pretty much what occurred, you can't tell me "oh this is a normal thing"; it's absolute absurd how horrible this lag is. People experiencing adds teleporting as if they were all Nightblades being able to teleport strike without having a target.
Example #2. During the WGT pledge (Yesterday) we're on kena, we have a solid team pretty much burned planar down within 5mins (still lagging a bit but could manage) but all that changes when we get to kena. We get to kena's wall of lighting and the lag we felt during inhibitor suddenly decided to increase even more to the point that I felt like I was in PvP 'Prime time'. I moved so slow that I was eaten by the lighting wall, healer can't spam heals or switch bars fast enough for other skills, tank trying to run while kenas on him but can't since kena gained a new teleport skill that wrecks him, and other DPS tries to avoid the lighting like me but gets eaten up by it too. This shouldn't be a normal thing but it sure feels that way.
Example #3: Today! I was doing vMSA and I was clearing it like a boss (on my stamina DK) No deaths stage 4 but it's not like I wasn't lagging all the way to stage 4; every single stage except stage 1, I had to use my corrosive armor (My OMG PANIC MODE Initiated ultimate).
Stage 4 I received my first death thanks to the last boss somehow killing me because I supposedly didn't sprint enough and didn't account for a flame to magically appear in front of me with no red AoE sign (GG LAG).
We go onto the 5th stage where the last boss somehow stuns me and I can't break free while 2 ads slam me down (GG LAG).
6th Stage the boss summons that big red golem thing (forgot it's name so let's go with red golem thingy), it's somehow able to stun me from 10 feet away then follow up with a combo hit before I could even regain control.
7th stage I spent most of my deaths here where I'd lag so badly that I couldn't get away from the insta kill plant that ends me everytime, or the boss that just gets his stun DoT combo where I can't break free (GG LAG) or somehow when I'm running out of the plants range my character suddenly decides to take a breather and run slower (GG LAG).
8th stage wasn't as bad I died twice to not being able to avoid the lasts boss fire wave since my character was moving slow and trying to dodge but it wouldn't dodge until a second later (GG LAG).
9th stage.. oh boy I didn't die till the ash titan who decided that when he uses his flame wall I shall also move slow and be un-able to avoid it while he summons ads that I can't attack since my attacks are missing thanks to being slightly out of range or getting stunned randomly which results me spamming LT/RT to break free to no avail (literally had to use a defence bonus to clear it). Last boss died multiple times thanks to somehow dodge on the top of the map (when he flys upward) but somehow getting slammed down with no ultimates ready which leaves me to be devoured by the daedroth. There was this one time where I tried to move out of the lich crystals way but couldn't for some odd reason, even after I dodge rolled it I was killed (GG LAG).
I literally died 23 times thanks to lag; I feel the best part was me trying to use vigor or rally and when I clicked it I would receive NO HEALS but the cost would be consumed, LOL isn't that fantastic how that could happen. I should add that it was happening through-out the whole vMSA and I was just infuriated by the end of it; just imagine you're like "Oh my health is low well I didn't use rally for a while so that should top me off" but when you click it, you receive nothing and die.
All in all PvE wasn't bad prior to Thieves guild, I've made many forums regarding how annoying the lag is but man this is pathetic. I sub to a game where the LAG is just as horrible as the bounce and today that sub has ended.
Edit: My score after it was over was 327k with 2hours 7mins wasted for a para bellum necklace (GG LAG n F u RNGesus)
