    i agree it should be a cc, but it should not be a cc does damage and give a heal debuff. same thing with fear(cc, dmg debuff, and snare)

    Problem is most S&B users NEED the heal debuff (unless you go all out on damage, but that's a sacrifice I won't make). Then we also need a stam CC. Reverb was the perfect skill to give us both of these. I'd be fine if they took away the damage buff they gave it as long as get the CC and Heal Debuff

    Ya, it's incredibly hard for stam classes to use a viable CC especially when most of them are magicka.

    That is not precisely a Bash bug, it happens with several cc's.

    Mumyo is right, I've been able to double CC with Fossilize, Magnum Shot, StoneFist, Fear, Etc etc. It's latency + CC bugs in general that needs to be fixed but isn't specific to Reverb Bash.

    Regardless, the CC itself is not bugged.

    No need to destroy another great stamina skill. No doubt about nerf wrecking blow, it was spammable by almost every stam user but after cc on reverb was fixed nobody did really spam this one. So with this awesome "changes" nobody will even use reverb ( both morphs ) next patch, the main thing was cc so far.

    Did you watch @sypher dance when reading this in the patch notes? Because based on that reaction I'd bet he disagrees with the idea that it was fixed in TG. So I'd say @Alcast is probably correct, it's a buggy skill that they couldn't fix so they just removed it.

    There needs to be a wholesale revisit of the cc's and your ability to break free. On live right now 70% of the time I can mash CC break and watch my stamina drain while I'm still cc'd.

    I think Reverberating Bash should still have Major Defile and Power Slam does more damage. The issue with this ability was the disorient, not the stun. People abused this cause it causes a stun lock, so cool it was removed. Coming from someone who has used it since release on several builds, it was the most OP ability in the game cause it broke rules on CCs.

    I never had it on my bar, tbh. If I wanted to CC an enemy I would step back three feet and charge them for a CC anyway. That said, if they're trying to make the bash a more reactive, block-for-max-effectiveness skill, they should increase the damage increase from blocking an attack. As it stands, you can spam puncture/ransack for half the cost and near-comparable damage.

    I'm all for Power Bash being a skill that takes some smarts/timing to get the most effectiveness, but it needs a buff before it's worth it, I think.

    Did you test it at all to see if it was fixed in TG? Because it was, Sypher even acknoweledged this himself on stream when I dueled him.

    Exactly. I can't always back out and then charge especially if they're a smart player and constantly on my ass. I used this skill to get people off me and/or to CC them every 6 seconds when I'm on them and don't want to relieve pressure by backing up then charging them.

    How in any way does the change to bash make a "smarts/timing" skill? They just increased the damage and removed the CC lol.

    Like you said, ransack combo does near-comparable damage at half the cost. From the buffs it looks as if they want this skill to be a DPS ability when we already have plenty of DPS options. Ontop of the fact that it just costs too much to spam.

    If you're fighting a smart and good player it would be rather hard to back up THEN CC them. It works but not all the time. Reverb was incredibly good in the fact that we could use the CC to get some breathing space and/or putting others under pressure by consistently CCing them every 6 seconds.

    Putting words in my mouth. I was simply referring to the ability itself. Sorta fixed in TG but the issue before and after TG was the fact that both the stun and disorient were on the ability. Hence why they removed them. And whose making absurd comments when your knowledge is coming from what someone else said on their stream? When you have an thought of your own, let me know.

    When did my knowledge come from someone on stream? Lmao, I tested this damn skill myself, the person I was responding to brought up Sypher and I used him as a reference because of it. And I'd be completely fine if it just CC'd and not stunned and disorientated someone, but I honestly don't see how that is an issue.

    It's because Disorient works on targets with CC immunity, and that person can not break the disorient themselves. Only once they are damaged does the disorient break (except Rune Prison). Disorient allowed you to basically "psuedo-stun" players and non-boss NPC for like 20+ seconds as long as you don't damage them. This is why people used it even before some discovered and abused a bug with it in PvP.

    What the TG patch did was it fixed the bug where CC-Immunity wasn't triggering because you were constantly getting Disoriented before getting a chance to gain CC-Immunity from breaking the Stun. Even though the damage from Reverberating Bash would disable the Disorient, it would immediately be reapplied each time it was used on you. This is what people abused and it was what they fixed. After TG, you were always stunned on the first application and not repetitively thus you could Break Free immediately.

    What they didn't change was the Disorient, it would still hit you even while having CC-Immunity. This is also what led to people disagreeing whether Bash was actually fixed. If someone hit you with it, there would still be that time before you were damaged that you felt stunned although you could Break Free. Similar to how Lotus Fan kinda feels. So like I said, the stun wasn't the issue. It was the disorient that was causing public issues with the ability and forced it's change for DB.
