Major Expidition and Quality of Life

First off I want to say I absolutely hate the last change s to major expedition.

With those in mind I propose.

All abilities (except Raipids and morphs) be extended to six seconds at maximum rank to accommodate the loss of 10% speed bonus.

At a bare minimum as a quality of life improvement;

Extended the buffs to six or eight seconds outside of combat for people who use these skills to farm, run around, or just admire the scenery. Bring them back down when in combat to 4 or six if your kind hearted enough to raise the time.

I feel the change most when I am out of combat just trying to move around the world. The only out of combat balance issue is length of time returning to a pvp fight after KO and quite honestly with forward camps and rapids already in game there is not much of a compelling argument against a out of combat buff.

    Rapids and morphs should be removed or changed to do something else. Mount speed should be able to cap at 100% instead of 60%. At this point, max mount speed would be equivalent to max + rapids currently.

    It's a shame they need to "money grab" by not making mount speed account wide, its even worse you need to waste a skill slot to move at a reasonable pace.

    Damn, even increase training time, I wouldn't care.

    That's just my two cents on my mount side of it Major Expedition.
    My ping is higher than your resource recovery...

    Yes they did, that does nothing to change a skill lost 10% of its value in the last patch.

    It actually more quality of life change then a balance change.

    The Percentage reduction to expidition and buff to sprinting was an indirect buff to well fitted.

    All that being said an out of combat bonus and time increase is neither game breaking or unreasonable and a fairly easy quality of life compromise.

    The main reason they did this was to slow down zergs plowing back and forth across the landscape. It was a contributing factor to Cyrodiil lag, and a balance issue for smaller groups/solo players. In reality, the larger a militia/cavalry is, the slower it has to move to stay organized/together. This is why there is a need for scouts on the battlefield. The change actually gives non-sorcs a chance to run away from zergs, or over extend them, since only a smaller % are going to be able to sprint far enough. The result is smaller size engagements in open battle. Bringing back forward camps also helped with this. Personally, I would like to see the 40% come back for all versions, leave the sprint change, leave forward camps, and just nerf rapid maneuvers duration, make it slightly cheaper, limit its AOE to the 4 man group you're in (or limit PVP raid sizes to 8 man - another topic but I will out debate anyone on it), fix mount stamina mechanics (you can sprint forever - been this way a long time) and bring back stabled mounts. Allow us to have 2-3 mount builds where one will always be the fastest, or sprint the furthest, or carry the most, (kind of like it used to be) but at the same time not tieing that to the cosmetics of the mount (like it is now)
