Hi @ZOS_GinaBruno there is something wrong with the pose, when you run sometimes it looks off place and then there is the idle stance....that doesn't look normal lol.

My opinions and posts are mostly on a PvE setting.

    • Yes, worked fine.
    • Yes, its a really cool idea and defiantly a feature Role-players love.
    • Once again, cool idea although the assassin one defiantly had some issues.
    • Yep, tool tip helped figure out the emotes, easy to learn.
    • The little dagger you have clips through weapons and also gets stuck on your hand occasionally when I'm using a bow or my daggers. The little dagger also stays stuck to your hand on a sprint and basically kept stabbing me in the shoulder. Little dagger also switches between being held backwards to being held forwards when you switch to sprint, disappears completely when crouching. I recommend keeping it held backwards even when sprinting and crouching. Other than that pretty cool idea, like it a lot.

    • Yep, got it fine.
    • It is a really cool idea for RP'ers. Nice touch to add for them.
    • To be honest, it's lovely for those that wish to immerse into characters, but ... I am not really sure why you guys added it into the game. I RP occasionally, and this stumps me a little bit.
    • It was very easy to tell what had changes with my character. Easy to learn etc.
    • The stance that you naturally take looks a little ... Unnatural? I mean, it does not look how a person, even an assassin, would naturally stand. Also, the dagger clipping and sprinting etc outlined above happens to me too.

The voice changes are...odd. The dagger is interesting but couldn't it be changed to use our currently equipped weapon?

I really like most of it, but the dagger is just too much. My character is constantly fiddling with it - and I prefer a stealthy intelligent assassin with a bit of a swagger (which most of the personality portrays well) over blade-obsessed psychopath. Have the dagger only show up for the occasional twirl, rather than out constantly with my character seemingly fixated on it.

Yes I received the personality, but I didn't connect that it was the loyalty reward for owning the DLC/subscribed but maybe I was just too excited by the new stuff to realize i got it as soon as arriving in the gold coast.

It is a fun feature, but I am not personally familiar with all of the emotes and was trying to /eat apple, /wall lean (back) etc so I didn't get the emote changes right away.

I don't think I would use the personality all the time though because having the dagger out whenever moving is odd. Open a door with dagger in hand etc etc. I do love the idle animations with the dagger. It is a bit odd that the dagger vanishes when a character crouches given that it is in my hand when running around...

I didn't see any dialogue changes when my character was in this persona (from npcs like merchants/banker), but I will listen more for any random speech changes/npc comments directed at my character as I carry on exploring the pts.

I would have liked something more subtle. Always holding that dagger and all somehow makes it look like an emote glitch.
Using it for RP stuff also doesn't work because of this.

Yea I don't like that dagger either. Taking a dagger out for idle animations from time to time would be cool, but as someone above me mentioned, the stealthy and intelligent assassin with swagger is what I'm looking for too. The dagger feels...unnatural or artificial.

Once again art departament did great job. - It's one of greatest idea added in this DLC.
I never saw anything similar in any other cRPG. Sure implementation needs polishing (dagger when walking and interacting is too much IMO), but overall direction and idea are remarkable.

Love love LOVE this feature. I can't wait to see the personalities released in the future. Amazing job!

However, I agree with the others about the dagger. No problem with juggling it when idle, but running holding it looks weird. Especially if I have two other blades on my belt.
Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

I like the personalities, they're fun.
Are they going to be something earned in game or they going to be purchasable in crown store?
The "eat apple" emote, does it make your charter eat an apple? I couldn't get it work with the assassin personify on or off.

Never mind, eat apple does work. I didn't know you don't actually type eat apple but eat2.
Maybe it shouldn't say eat apple in the personality description, because it made me think that was what should be typed for the emote.

    1. Did you receive the Personality after going to the Gold Coast?

Yes, without any issues. It was delivered the moment I arrived by the wayshrine.

    2. Did you enjoy being able to customize your personality?

Yes! Its a neat idea, and I think this could become something very -very- awesome. If the proper customization is allowed for it.

    3. What are your overall impressions of this new feature?

I believe it is cool, but that it needs a few tweeks, more of that below.

    4. Were you able to easily tell what changed on your character?

To a degree, the idle animation, running and walking is all very nice. Though the descriptions for the emotes when hovering over the personality itself is quite misleading. Instead of eat apple it should say /eat3, to better let the player understand what emotes actually changes.

    5. Do you have any other general feedback?

I think this could be an amazingly awesome feature! But you should really let the characters themeselves 'judge' how such an personality is displayed. It feels a bit awkward that I, as a dual-wielder, all of a sudden gain an extra silver dagger, when I already have one perfectly fine dagger sitting right next to it. It would be cool if each personality fitted to the characters current arsenal in this regard. Not only would it look better, but it can possibly also make people feel more attached to their current armory, as well as character.

In general I think that this idea is very awesome. Though it really requires that multiple personalities are released, so we can properly customize our characters to our liking. Here is a short list of personalities I can think of that would be suitable:

    - Assassin
    - Thief
    - Mage (perhaps the magical effects on the mage idle animations could change depending on the elemental staff wielded?)
    - Fighter
    - Nobleman
    - Beastman (A humanoid werewolf behavior change/idle animations, perhaps a bit of brutal animalistic feel to it.)
    - Bloodfiend (Similar to the bloodfiends in game, could be earned through reaching vampire stage 4?)
    - Fisherman
    - Alchemist
    - Blacksmith
    - Tailor
    - Chef
    - Lumberjack
    - Imperial Legioneer (formal soldier!)

These were just a few ontop of my head! But I do believe that this personality system needs to have quite the variety for it to be succesful. But with that said, I do hope to see this being continued, and perhaps developed to be working with the current weaponry of the characters.

I love the idea of it, but the one thing I didn't like is the fact I run around with a dagger out all the time. It seems really odd to me, especially given it's not a weapon I have. I also found that if I went into combat and left combat my personality would stop and I'd go back to a regular walk/run pose (but still have the dagger out). Which is a bug, but... I dunno. Being forced to have a dagger out seems really weird.

Unrelated: I think some races should have default personalities (like Khajiit having a more graceful walk and a bit of a stalkier sneak). I think that would be HUUUUUUUGE for immersion, and really go a long way to make the races feel more unique.

    1. Yes.

    2. Not really. I guess it was OK, but I would not say it was "enjoyable".

    3. Neutral. I like emotes and stuff like this, but I would probably not use this.

    4. I could very easily see what changed with animation. He started tossing a dagger around. He started eating using the dagger. He saluted using the dagger. The sound is completely messed up on both 32-bit and 64-bit for me on PTS, so whatever people were saying about character sound changes was missed in all that. Maybe the personality is what messed up the sound, I dunno.

    5. My character is a dual wield. It actually looked pretty silly playing with a third dagger that clipped the equipped dagger. Maybe unequip (visually) the weapons as part of this? Don't animate the personality in a way that clips with existing weapons?

Interested in seeing what else you have up your sleeve in the future, but this one is sort of "meh".

It does not always work well, eg when eating the apple I couldnt actually see an apple in hand. Or I could use the other eating animation (eating a loaf of bread) which actually resulted in my character slowly eating the knife he was holding. It was of course very funny and reminded me of NPCs in Hew's Bane eating knives. I don't think this is the intended animation though!

Same for flipping coins, I couldn't see any coins being flipped

    1. Yes received personality on arrival in the Gold Coast.

    2. Haven't tried customising the personality.

    3. I have to agree with others on here that the dagger is off-putting, I like the mechanic and animations but if so my character should pull out one of his own weapons.

    4. Yes instantly see the changes to stance movement etc.

    5. Will have a look in more detail tonight and give some more feedback.

I went outside once, the graphics were awesome but the gameplay sucked

Really love the idea of Personalities, and this one is fun (although the idle stance is a little...awkward? Like "I don't know what to do with my hands" awkward) but the persistent dagger is a little bit too much.

When my girl was stationary, it was cool, I liked it.

But as soon as she started moving it was horrible, I don't like her walking funny holding the dagger at a weird angle. I spent the whole time with my wep out so I could walk around normally.

Idle it's good, not idle its bad.

I think that personalities are a great concept (and business idea) that can interest players with all kinds of prefered play style (from casual roleplayers to hardcore PvPer).

However, please make sure there's enough (about 5-10 would be good) personalities available in the crown store immediately when the system is introduced on live servers, otherwise there will be nothing individual about those personalities anymore and everyone on the server will either be assassin or have no personality equipped ><

    1. Yes, I received the personality just I set foot on the Gold Coast.
    2. Not sure what exactly is meant by this. If it refers to further customize my avatar, then yes. As a RPer this is good feature to have.
    3. A nice feature and good RP tool, I hate the dagger though.
    4. Yes.

    Further feedback:

It's good start, but we need more personalities to choose from:

    Fighter/warrior
    Swashbuckler/pirate
    Noble
    Beggar
Perhaps even some racial personalities, e.g. Khajiit (modifies the stealth animation, a modified jump)

The dagger of the assassin personality is incredibly annoying. Perhaps display the dagger only in the emotes but not for idle, walk or run animations.

      Very interesting concept.

This one would just like throw in a few more of these 'personalities' that khajiit would like to assume when going about her work unnoticed in Tamriel.

Street entertainer - a use yes for all those nice NPC animations that appeared in Hews Bane with the swallowing of the swords and the like.

Drunk - khajiit likes to party from time to time and it would be nice to be able to communicate with others that this one has the party spirit
