Yup - definitely could tell when I looted items which ones were sent to my crafting bag.

Yes I understand what items go into the crafting bag. Although it's a bit confusing trying to find my bait since they are used for crafting, even though they never went in the materials tab.

If by integrated you just mean it works. Yup! I love how all crafting materials are now available to all characters when crafting. Amazing.

I have not noticed any items that should have been included that are not.

I'm estimating over 500. 3 mules for crafting plus excess that didn't fit.

They are just as amazing as I thought they would be. Seriously. I almost cried as I logged in one by one and saw all my crafting materials go into that bag, and know it will now give me the ability to play the game more on whatever character I want without having to move that characters inventory to someone else.

At first I thought bait should have it's own tab as well @stevenbennett_ESO but I just checked it out. When all your bait is in your crafting bag, you can still go fishing. Meaning unless you are trying to trade/sell your bait, there's no reason to need to find it. Bait now works like crafting mats... available all the time

You may want to put a little blurb in the live patch notes that you need to log into all of your characters for all the mats to go in the bag initially. I had a bit of a heart attack when I thought all my high level wood was missing - but apparently I had placed it on the wrong mule back on live. (Maybe you did put a blurb there and I missed it. If so disregard this)

Didn't realize that fishing bait went in there until someone mentioned it. Glad it does, because I tend to carry a lot of it. I do feel that it should have its own filter category though. While I understand that it's also used in a few provisioning recipes, that's not its primary use, and I'd want to be able to check my bait amounts quickly, without having to dig for them.

I saw the "Retrieve" and "Store" (or whatever they were called) options in the right-click menu. If there's an easier way to move items between the bag and normal inventory, then I missed it.

As mentioned, I really feel that fishing bait should have its own filter category. Also, I noticed that RAW style materials (Malachite shards, Dwemer scrap, Casserite sand, etc.) were filtered into blacksmithing, woodworking, and clothing. Shouldn't they go under "style materials"?

Also, while I'm sure that most players would like the automatic transfer of all materials into the bag upon first log in, I actually found it annoying, since I had some specific materials stored in separate places for a reason. If it automatically moves all my mats into the bag when the update goes live, it's going to make a mess of my system. Instead of being automatic, a "transfer all materials to bag" button or option, would be much preferred.

OK, here's a BIG issue for me.

When I am at the bank listing stuff for sale in a guild store, I NEED to be able to access my crafting bag, so I can select a particular number of a crafting mat to list for sale.

I do NOT want to have to retrieve each item I want to sell individually before opening the guild store interface.

This is a very big and time-consuming issue for a lot of players like me who sell excess mats. Just because I now have space to keep 3000 Tempering Alloy does not mean I do not ever want to sell any, and doing so needs to be easier. Allow us to select craft bag and split stack (or select a quantity to sell) in the guild store sell interface.

EDIT: Just checked, and send mail interface is similarly affected - need to be able to access craft bags in the send mail interface also. (Add Guild Bank to that list).

Are crafting only available is you have an eso plus pic account on test.

I bought a pc copy for access to test but my eso plus account is on ps4, will I not be able access this on test?

@lolo_01b16_ESO Your bag is broken like mine. It IS account wide, but some folks (like me) are experiencing a bug where you can't access some stuff on certain characters.

@acw37162 Definitely try. On PTS even ESO+ members from live need to "purchase" (fake buy) the DLC. So I don't think it matters.

I'm loving the crafting bag a lot.. with the exception that it did not appear to show any enchanting runes at all.. even after I gathered many during the evening. I played on the ptr with a copy of my main character who has many many enchanting runes.. and nothing in the dang bag...

I was able to find the awesome Craft Bag, the loot text was very clear about what was going into the craft bag. It seemed that everything related to crafting things that you would use at a crafting station went into the Craft Bag. Yes, I was able to remove items to trade to other players or eat (new alchemy ingred.) although the mats returning to the crafting bag when i zoned was a bit of a surprise but now that I know that I won't pull items out to trade prior to meeting the other player.

The new bag model is very neat (and also used for when a player accesses the crown store it seems).

Freed up 200 bank spaces and about 50 bag spaces on my mule as well as making gathering everything (from opening and looting all containers to nodes etc) much easier in terms of inventory management since all those mats go automatically into the Craft Bag.

I think this is an awesome bonus for subscribers. It provides a great deal of convenience so those of us who are crafting mat pack-rats don't have to use mules to hold stuff. (but non-subs can still use that method) Honestly, the current subscription bonuses are not very big (esp for the max. level players with all traits researched). I love it.

Suggestion: Maybe separate the weapon and armor trait gems into their own tabs. Also, the Cassiterite Sand, dwemer scrap, glass shards show up in all 3 crafting menus, maybe marking those so they go into the style materials tab? But it is really great as it is!

edit: after reading some other posts here I agree that it would be nice to access the craft bag withing the guild store and mail interfaces (and possibly the trade interface as well), although I do understand with the mechanic the way it is you will select item in the craft bag, transfer to your inventory and then attach to mail, post to guild store etc

Do you need to withdraw items from the bag to use them in writs?

Another victim of the crafting bug. I did as someone in zone suggested and load up from the Plentiful crafting crate. I now have mats to experiment with. HOWEVER. There are no runes in the crates, there are glyphs that can be deconned, true. But there are no runes, so I'm stuck with vet 16 runes. Perhaps they can make a crownstore item plentiful runes?

I hope this is just a temporary PTS thing, because if this happens on live I will be sorely upset.

I did not create a new character before moving my items into the craft bag and noticing that they were gone.

Same thing with Provisioning materials. Need to have a plentiful provisioner crate along with the plentiful enchanter.

Me too. I had the bag filled from template boxes. Played few hours and everything was there. Then i created one toon, deleted one, created third, returned back to first toon and craftbag is completely empty. All toons are templates.

edit: Tested:
- Take in first toon crafting mats from crates. Verified there are stuff in craftbag.
- Logged in to another toon, looked into craftbags, things were there
- Created a new toon.
- Logged in to first toon , looked, craftbags are empty.
