Combine the 1116 stam with the redguard passive and you are good to go

@Tarrin you now get 3% wep dmg for every FG ability slotted, so there you go.

Nothing matters, we now can spam Bone shield 24/7....lol its gonna be shieldspam city lol.

I think stam Sorc/temp/NB DPS in PvE are kind of on the same level. Jus stam DK is reaching for higher limits....as always...

IF, and that is a BIG if, they give Dark Elfs passive to deal 7% more damage with fire AND poison, then i guess that is alright.

A lot of my friends, myself included, have magicka AND stamina dark elf dks.

Now...what to do with the stam dark elf dk chars we have grinding hundreds of hours....

Me included. Just not happy with how they make a well thought out class and race combination irrelevant when chosing based off how your racial passives will enhance your class damage types.

I guess now all we have to do is buy another character slot and rank something to 50 in training gear with ambrosia running. Just ranking mages/fighters/undaunted again will suck badly.

I'm very disappointed with the lack of attention to stam sorcs. And I wish stamplars had a physical ult (like the radial sweep ult). Otherwise looks like its time to roll a khajiit DK :P

Sounds like stam DKs (including mine) will be very happy in PvE. Stamblades should be as well, stamplars got a small buff. stam sorcs got.... errrrrk...

Especially the change to Flurry... shorter channel, combined with malestrom daggers. Good lord, prepare to see some 60k DPS out.

Fighters guilds is overall not as strong, the nerf to dawnbreaker wd buff (5% from 8%) and change to physical damage makes
me wonder how it compares to Incap / Take flight.

A bit sad to see the damage proc on expert hunter (not camo hunter) go away, but the trap now deals its dot to any target. Overall, fighter's guild is less efficient against undead / daedras / WWs, but more against "normal" targets.

My guess as to best stam DPS:

    1) DKs
    2) NBs
    3) Templars
    ...
    ...
    ...
    23619) Sorcs

So guys, what do you think about the stamina class changes?

In my opinion the already most OP Stamina class got the most buffs so far, which is ofcourse a Stamina DK.
Nightblades got some decent changes and the Sorc Hurricane change could maybe help Sorc a little bit.
The only one without any useful changes is Stamina Templar, in my opinion.

No useful changes for stamina templar? Did u read something else than i?
    Burning light phys dmg
    Purge aoe snare+dmg

Both of those are big and we allready are on top of the food chain this patch.

These were the most significant changes i kept in mind, i forgot about anything else anyway ;)

good point LOL. Damn I was so overcooked from all that Stamina DK POison dmg that I did not even realize this anymore lel

    oh boy! :p

That's nothing; black rose set increases this to 1956 now... Making it one of the best heavy armor sets in the game.

    In short.....
    It's dumb

Ppl want the option to choose stamina or magic so do this and keep it simple.
(Any skill....yes any skill) that ZOS thinks should have magic and that did, does or will
Morph with a Stam option and vice versa should literally allow both morphs to be chosen and another option for Stam or magic.

Build on that but it's all that's needed instead of picking and removing options.

IMHO Stamplars are not doing so hot with the Thau changes to Jabs. If Thau really no longer effects Jabs, that's a pretty big hit.

What do you do? Do what other classes have done since release. Wait until the next big update and things will change again.

Every six months or so one class is crying because of perceived nerfs and another is rejoicing because they are now the flavour.

We've already established that the game should first be balanced around PvP, and then PvE balanced around it. This thread is derailing the more important conversation.

Well do you think my isolated dk nord will be now a bit better? Ive gone from stam to mag but still being a bad race if you dont want to tank. So the way to go now with my nord mag dk is of course to reroll to stma again. Do you think it will be better with this changes? For PVE lacks dps I guess and for pvp a lot of survival but lacks dps too...Am I wrong?

And what about my stamplar redguard? I think this one will feel a lot bettwr now.

Nifty confirmed in that thread Rapid Strikes is still buffed by Thaumaturge. It's just Templar toothpick which is not. That's rather inconsistent on ZOS' part. It either needs to effect both or neither. Personally I prefer it increasing both.

be interested to see some DPS tests see how things are shaping up for a DK. I'd also love to see the new animations.
    but equally in pvp...
I'm a little excited for the NB, and glad they fixed this.

Some good stuff here - Wrecking Blow now forces a choice between the various effects/buffs it provided which should reduce the spammers in PvP (yeah sorry I know this is PvE).

But for PvE my first impression is that this is going to up the potential for DPS nearer to what a magic based build can provide with various buffs to weapon damage potential.

On the flip side they seem to have hit the Fighter's guild skill line quite hard removing various damage to undead/daedra areas and making the Hunter and morphs very average. The change to Flawless DB is not good for DPS but the passive sort of offsets it.

Overall I am feeling positive but time will tell and judging from all the sorcs having a moan already I suspect we'll see some of the good stuff reversed before it gets to live.

Best patch ever. DKs seem to get the better buffs but I really like my NB changes. With the change to Flurry, I might be forced into a "standard" Maelstrom DOT build after all for raids.
Jeckll has quit the game. Thanks for the great time.

Tbh, both dk and nb got the same treatment and not just that Stamina Nightblades get everything they need from just using their class skills with the exception of a DoT and AoE. Best gap closer in the game - check. Best DPS spammable in the game - check. Best execute (probably) - check. Hard hitting cheap ultimate with a CC, debuff and buff included - check. Direct damage and regen buff with a super hard hitting proc - check.
