Will you still be able to craft items without having the required materials on you or will I have to pull all materials needed out of the crafting bags before I can craft an item? As it is now I can craft anything as long as I have the required material in my bank.

    Test it.
He spoke, the son of Padomay, and nodded his head with the dark brows
and the imortally anointed hair of the great god
swept from his divine head, and all Mundus was shaken.

I fully expect it will work just like the bank, otherwise it would be silly to have a crafting 'bag' but not be able to access mats from it without removing them first.

Yes, you can craft directly from crafting bags. (Just tested it...) Further, new materials you loot or refine or deconstruct go directly into your crafting bags, which are shared across characters, so there's no need to do any special inventory management. The only reason to take materials out of the bag would be to sell them or if you needed them for a quest. (And I'm not sure you need to pull them out for a quest, even -- I'd have to go do an alchemy or enchanting writ to find out...)

As an added bonus, Fishing bait is also put into the crafting bags, although it's oddly characterized as "Provisioning" materials. (Yes, some can be used by new recipes, but I'd rather it had it's own section.) I wasn't close to a fishing hole to test it, but I'm fairly sure it will also be usable out of the bag.

This is by FAR my favorite new feature - takes away 90% of my inventory management.
