ZoS, can it be made possible to level-up items that were acquired at lower levels? There have been quite a few story-based jewelry and other items that had cool traits on them, but are too low to be of any benefit to a v16. So I'm requesting for some sort of upgrade feature that will allow players to continue to make use of a liked item.

I currently, for example, wish I could get a vet 16 version of Aldmion's Amulet. Thanks.

    I think it could work if you had to use the same amount of material it would take to craft an item to upgrade something lower into higher level version of it. That would be very useful for sets that only drop within certain level ranges that you wanted at VR16, but are no longer obtainable at that point.

    Example be like if you wanted to upgrade a VR1 one-handed weapon it would take 11 Rubedite Ingots to upgrade it to VR15 and 110 Rubedite Ingots to change it to VR 16. Jewelry would have to take at least 100 Ingots to upgrade the lowest level that material can provide, like Voidstone Ingots it would be 100 for VR10 with an increment of 10 ingots per level so 140 Voidstone Ingots to upgrade it to VR14.

    The reasoning for those required amounts is that they wouldn't want it to be any easier to obtain and upgrade a lower item than it would cost to craft it or else everyone would be upgrading gear if it took less material. Jewelry not able to craft should also take an absurd amount to make it fair.

    Eh... at V16, its sort of "go set or get lost" when it comes to gear... And very few of the story drops are set pieces (I only recall mages and fighters guild final story reward)

    That being said, there are also quite a few nifty sets that many would like to use at endgame, but which do not level that high. And some way to get them there would be appreciated, be it some upscaling function (could be done like temnper improvements as perk for master crafters - use the same materials as making an high rank piece of the same type, and volia... with a destruction chance migrated by using extra materials...), or it could just be letting ALL sets drop at max rank in some places...

    At v16 how far in the game are you at this moment? Most endgame content is group content, and you are better off using v16 set gear than v4 non set gear.

    Wouldn't be against this as long as it took mats and a crafter proficient in the trade. We need to keep the economy running after all.

    Because the akatosh blessing set would become the meta for dungeon players (doesn't work in trials) but dungeons it does, warlock would be OP, although lich is the same but they parked it behind THE most horrific grind in the game.

    Oddly though my healing mage set in gold is still OP, 850 magika on arcane, 174 spell damage and 3 trait lowers enemy weapon damage by 460 within my healing radius, makes for epic trolling at duels when 2 enemy alliance members are having it out and start doing no damage. Best v14 set going. If only it lowered spell damage, VMA on a templar would be a cake walk.

    Plus it would stop people farming ICP etc on V1 and then just boosting them up with no effort at all.

    Even a jeweller's shop in some towns where you can take pieces to upgrade/deconstruct for additional gold would be a good start.

    And actually add gold nodes to mine and use to upgrade. Because we've had that in previous tes games.
