Perma banned should only be used for the biggest offensives.

Even if this was against the rules, I still would not support a perma ban over this.

Tbh, I didn't even spot it, I just wasn't sure what it means (of course not "arts" as in paintings and such, at this point I was just kidding^^). English is not my language, and sometimes I'm not sure if a word is some kind of slang or a typo or even correct and I just don't know it

The problem isn't with the players doing it. The problem is that it's even doable in the first place. No permabans for offenders (short term bans perhaps), but it should probably be fixed by ZoS sometime soon if it's considered an exploit.

Even if you restricted players to only one faction per account, nothing is stopping them from getting a second account or friends in other factions to accomplish the same thing.

If your breaking the spirit of the game, Sure I think they should be perma banned, along with AFK guilds (guilds where they just loggin to population lock another faction so their mains faction can just stomp over em) Siege AP exploiters, defense tick exploiters that multi faction guilds use to control who gets emperor, etc.

But this isn't something ZOS is particularly well equipped to handle, nor do they seem to feel it's their obligation to do so. It's just a fact of life. Toxic people, make the game toxic. there is nothing we can do about it.

ZOS do have a problem with it, they've started time and time again you're not supposed to enter keeps without breaking through walls or gates. They simply don't to anything about it, I suspect out of fear of losing players.

I suggest you report and move on.

Here's the problem: how do you KNOW that ALL of these players who entered the fort via this "glitch" did it on purpose with a collaborator's alt? Yeah, it sucks that people do this, but it would suck even worse if someone got perma-banned by mistake.

I can understand the ire but a perm ban seems a bit harsh. They paid their money and just spoiled your fun. It isn't as if many common practices don't spoil someone's fun. If it is an issue then I suggest reporting it every time it occurs.

They don't even need to have anyone on the other alliance.
I know some people can jump over walls easy.
Exploit or not... ZOS does not seem to care.

Wait.. how is everyone being punished? are you exploiting it? if you aren't then you shouldn't have to worry about it... but if a few players can ruin and exploit the game ruining for the rest then yes they should damn right be punished...

I voted yes, only because temp ban is not an option. I do not think perma ban is an appropriate punishment for such offenses, but I do think a temp ban would be. Perma ban should be a thing only for the most egregious of offenses.

As for everyone who argues spies are a part of war. Grow up! Being a spy in real life carries some very harsh consequences if discovered. If you are going to resort to childish BS, then a temp ban should be that consequence in game. Furthermore, spying is the least of concerns. Using alts to bypass keep walls, run scrolls, mark hidden players, and mess up seiges are all of much more concern...and it happens way too often.

Harsh is good.
It is:
1) perfect to make an example.
2) Make people think twice about cheating.

The problem with this world are people that choose for "soft approaches".
This is basically PROMOTING towards crime.
