What you all have to realise is that all of this comes across as painfully whining. The devs are not gunna take all this whinging seriously...., if u so mad, go play something else (I'm guessing nothing else will be good enough though)

Well your right about them not fixing pvp. We all know server population and lag are the huge problems right now. Yet they keep messing with champion points , the vet system and adding in rediculious sets like vicious death instead of addressing the real issues. Won't be long before pvp is dead and when that happens I'm out too. It's pretty sad really cause the concept of the pvp in this game is great.

If there are a lot of skill and skill line changes (like Vampirism, for example) it might be nice for PvP. Sub is already cancelled anyway, why pay for access to some areas where I never go, and quests I'd never do? Bought Orsinium with the Crowns I got, no need for anything else really.

I won't be cancelling my sub as I feel if I want them to improve the game they need the resources to do so and if my £9 a month helps, so be it.

Cancelling your sub is akin to cutting your nose off to spite your face. It serves no purpose whatsoever. If you have a problem with the game you should try using the usual channels like posting here, customer support or even /bug. I realise that these channels don't always give you the result that's wished for BUT it's a damn sight more constructive than cancelling your sub.

I will only cancel mine when I stop playing, which I don't foresee for a while.

i'll just keep my subscription on and use the feedback function to point out what I think of the DLC and ESO and its issues in general.

The cost is incredibly low in comparison to almost any other after-work fun I enjoy (except compared to playing football ("soccer") i guess) and I'm fairly sure feedback helps a lot more to shape the game the way I'd love it to be than randomly cancelling a sub.

all those rants and cancellations of subs are just noise if you look at all channels (especially if ZOS includes youtube comments, reddit, those gaming sites i never visit, steam and i'm sure there are also places for each console where people shitpost all the time). subs come and go for various reasons. if you want something to change, be as concise as you can be. what you suggest isn't.

maybe more people make or cancel subs because of immersion expectations related to DB. maybe not, but it'd be very hard for ZOS to figure it out.

Interesting. TG greatly improved my PvP experience... and I can't wait for vet ranks to go away. I also want the structured PvP experience that you referenced but I don't want them rushing it out.

I'll keep my subscription. I play about 40-60 hours a month... that's $0.375-$0.25 per hour for entertainment. Even the poorest players out there can afford that. Development dollars lead to more (and higher quality) content.

Or just keep huffing, puffing, and stomping your feet until you get what you want.
I can't really think of anyone that I know who has unsubbed that did so because of the money. In fact, I'd say pvpers have a stronger incentive to be drawn to a sub game because they care more about quality gameplay and maintenance over a few dozen quests every few weeks. I kept my sub for so long because I'd 'like' to support the game, but cancelled it because I became convinced the crew managing the game cannot do so in a way that makes me want to continue supporting them. I've promised myself to never give ZOS money until I see changes in how they manage the game, and I will commit to that for DB and beyond. It's not the money, I'm doing just fine.

The 'huffing, puffing, and stomping my feet' was to make it clear to ZOS they were doing many many things wrong. When that failed and it was clear I was not the only one that felt that way, the last reproach is to stop funding them, simple as that. It won't work, because their financial model doesn't depend on pvpers, but at least I don't have to be angry with myself for contributing to their paycheck.

They already have....look around...nearly every major PVP guild on PC NA is gone. DC has the lowest PVP pop its ever had....we have 2 PVP servers that are each dominated by one faction....don't know how much plainer it can be.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QMIZ--gVjtE

Take a look at Haderus NA....see how 1 sided it is...all those AD are chasing like 3 people....what your seeing on Haderus and to a lesser extent Trueflame is how PVP in 3 faction games die...one faction, in this case DC, loses so many players they no longer become a map force to be reckoned with, so it almost becomes a 2 faction war which quickly becomes 1...PVP in this game is in the worst state it has ever been, not just from a bug perspective but from a severe population imbalance problem as well.

In reality, getting every pvper to drop their subs is probably minuscule in comparison to the main sources of money. Recolor a cat or bear mount and sell em, who cares about subs when people are dropping money on that crap.

Mine was cancelled due to performance issues and obvious focus on pve content.

I cancelled mine when they went B2P because it was the cheapest option to continue playing the game long term.

Honestly not even sure why people still bring the status of their sub up.

Status between players in a show of solidarity. It means we would like to resub, but current issues force our only reactive action as consumers.

Yeah, I don't think they even send you a questioner when you unsub. How would they even know the exact reasons?

That's the problem I don't know about PC but on PS4 they don't have a survey to even gather this data when players cancel subs. You would think this would be valuable information to them. If they know 20,000 players would renew subs if PvP content was a focus I would imagine they would give us some PvP content.

I feel the same it's not about the cost to me but supporting a good product. I don't feel the product is even worth 15 bucks right now. I would probably play 50 bucks a month if the lag/performance was significantly better. I would want a PvP focus including in this 50 bucks a month.

I play on the ps4 and from day one I got ESO plus and thought the same thing. I realized over time they are not giving me what I want to pay for ESO plus. Clearly you enjoy the content and are fine paying it regardless of all the performance and pvp issues. Their company won't crash and burn if a portion of people unsub. I am just trying to get their attention and say "There is a big population of players who want performance/content for PvP to improve and would gladly resub or buy crown items/DLC" We should focus our business model to support these types of players. I would pay 50 bucks a month if that happened or more.

I was not suggesting that the price was to expensive. The $15 sub does go a long way in comparison to other activities because well you are correct. It's extremely cheap if all you do is play ESO. I want to support the game and financially support them but I personally don't see a reason when they give me poor PvP performance and PvE content for future DLC. It's not worth it to me but if they did these things and say wanted 50 bucks a month for a PvP ESO plus membership I would be fine with that.

Well if its like Orsinium or TG they said they were making changes to PvP but look what happened...didn't give it the real attention it needed.

If Dark Brotherhoods expansion of the IC sewers is fun and adds value/purpose to PvP I would say that's a step in the right direction. Right now it's to early to tell as you are right they haven't released all the details.
